Located on 42nd opposite Grand Central Station this place is hugley popular as a take away woth local workers. Top quality fresh produce- italian lots of pastas and salads. Great selwction of sandwich fillings. A few tables inside but dining experience is marred by queues of take away clients.
Cipriani Le Specialita offers a great Italian, fast lunch. I enjoyed the meatless rigatoni. Service was fast and friendly. The pasta was fresh and perfectly "al dente". A very pleasant, continental experience!
I was there for the first time ever after many years passing by and wishing to have the time to stop for lunch. Walter was the waiter, and obviously he doesn't care about customer service. His attitude was so obnoxious that I felt like he didn't want to serve or interact with us; and that's kind of weird because I am Hispanic just like him or at least on my opinion we are equals. The rest of the staff was nice and the food was good for the price.
