We went in on a Friday afternoon without a reservation and were able to sit at the bar. Both the food and the coffee were delicious. The banana bread French toast was good but rich- we split meals and shared half and half which ended up being perfect. Service was timely and the place had a cool modern atmosphere. I’d recommend making a reservation for larger parties and if you want to sit at a booth or in a chair with back support!

Worst brunch experience ever in nyc. The wait for a table was 45 mins, wait for food was over an hour and even then they messed up our order completely and couldn’t even replace the incorrect orders they gave us. Food was very mediocre. Waiters seem to be lost, it’s a whole mission just to get the bill. Seems understaffed, poorly run and they clearly dont respect people’s time.

One teeny tiny egg, very hard sour bread toast-1 lousy piece and barely warm. Manager asked me how it was and I said not hot. “Thanks for telling me” was his response. How about an attempt to rectify that it. Nah-he couldn’t be bothered. Asked for some jam to try and make that last crumb palatable-10 minutes later it arrives. Skip this place. Go get a bagel at Baz’s.

STAY AWAY from this place! It took 20 minutes to receive the check alone. After our waiter left the restaurant mid-meal, we asked another waitress for the bill. She proceeded to hold a finger up (I’ve been to many restaurants and have never been told to wait in this manner), then went to serve other patrons, and never got back to us.Then, we tried flagging down another waiter, who walked right past us despite us clearly saying “excuse me.” He returned a few minutes later asking us what we need, which means he did in fact hear us the first time, and simply chose to ignore us.If you want a good Aussie meal, you’re better off going to Dudley’s. And if you want brunch, just go visit the millions of other spots in the area. There’s no point in settling for such mediocrity in a city like this.

Don’t be deceived by the interior of this place, the food is mediocre at best, portions are stingy, and the wait time is even worse. We waited 15 minutes for the bill, and upon asking a waitress for it, she proceeded to hold a finger up at us, leaving us to wait for another 10 minutes. We were ignored several times by waitstaff, who came back 5 mins later asking what we need. There are no redeemable qualities for this place, and you’re better off going to any other restaurant in the area, for better food and similar (if not better) aesthetics. DO NOT COME!!!

I got the classic French toast and was disappointed to see it was one piece of bread. It also really felt like they just cut it, put it on the plate, and dressed it up with fruit and butter. I don't think it hit the pan at all to be honest because it really just felt like a regular piece of bread. The flavors were there but not what I was expecting at all. The rest of the breakfast menu looked good so just don't try this one.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level

The breakfast bowl I got is one I cosnystently get when I come here - beet hummus, poached eggs, za’atar pita, mushrooms, grains, feta, so good. Service is really good and it’s a great place to post up during a weekday to get some work done.Vegetarian options: Love it and will come back again

Great Australian coffee and tunes. The whipped negroni is deliciously refreshing. Keep up the great work, and thanks to the staff for recommendations in the area.
