ordered hummus and bread, eggs benedict, and french toast to share! we were seated downstairs, the ambience was nice and cute. loved the food, it comes out course-style, and they’ll ask you what you want to come out first, etc. favorite dish was definitely the french toast! a nice brunch place!

Enjoyed a delightful time here! While the drinks were a tad stingy, they were tasty. The dry-aged hamburger stole the show – possibly the best I’ve had. The atmosphere was pleasantly cozy. Not typically a fan of French restaurants, but this one stood out with its diverse menu and drink options.

We came to Claudette for a sweet Valentine's evening dinner and, with high expectations, were severely disappointed. When we made the reservation, we were informed that the a la carte menu would be served in addition to the Valentine's Day prix-fixe. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the restaurant, only after being seated, that this was inaccurate. The Valentine's prix-fixe was $95pp. We decided, since we were already seated, to make the best of it. $375 later, we left disappointed. While the drinks were delicious and the food was decent (just okay, nothing special), it was (really) nothing special and the portion sizes were lackluster. The service itself: no complaints. But simply shared the cost of the meal and drinks soured our overall experience and we will not be back. We did share with the restaurant and they offered us a "round of drinks" for our poor experience, which fell on deaf ears given the value is truly non-representative of the $375 we paid for the extremely dull and paltry experience at Claudette.

Had a dinner today at Claudette’s and everything was stellar; the atmosphere, food but most importantly the service. Our waitress was Ashley - very polite, friendly and professional. She was on top of things, checking constantly the room to make sure the customers were satisfied. Great experience-100% recommend!

The food was sub-par and I was served bouillabaisse with no spoon….by the time one was brought 10mins after I asked for one I had finished eating half. I’m lactose intolerant and told them so and they still brought me the toast covered in butter and took them 15mins to bring me another toast with no butter and it was the smallest piece of ‘toast’ I've ever seen. To think I waited and tried not to eat waiting for this toast. For $38 you think they would include some actual bread. There was also no visible lobster in the soup. My partner’s food was nothing to get excited about either. The ambiance is charming though.

Average food, bad service. For the price you can find places that are much better.

Awesome restaurant with amazing food with great portions. Worth the price. The only issue is their 2 person tables are a little cramped, but hey, that's a pretty mild criticism. I highly recommend the Lamb Tagine and the Roasted Sasso Chicken.

Charming!! Great location, great menu, great service. What a lovely spot, airy and very French. Nice lunch menu. Food was fresh and delicious. Salads with added protein were just the right size and full of flavour. My lunch companion and I ate well and did not feel rushed as we chatted. That can be rare in NYC! Kudos to the wait staff and the kitchen, which is open and gorgeous!

this restaurant is so cute and the service is wonderful but much of the food fell flat for us. the restaurant has regular tables and booths, i always prefer a booth and they were very accommodating. from the food we ordered the only thing i consider near perfect is the octopus. it was so good that i would come back just for that. the ratatouille was also amazing but a little on the salty side and came out a little cold. the rest of the food we were not huge fans of. the steak tartare had an extremely overpowering flavor of caper which made it too salty and just be warned it is also spicy. i don’t mind spice i just didn’t love it with steak tartare. the lemon pasta was fine and had a strong lemon flavor but what threw me off was that they put lemon peel in it which made the flavor far too bitter. the french fries while clearly hand cut they were not fully cooked and a little tough. i didn’t catch the name of our server but she was extremely sweet and accommodating to the things we did not enjoy. i would recommend this restaurant i just wouldn’t recommend what we ordered (aside from the octopus and ratatouille). the burger looked and smelled amazing so maybe try that.
