My family and I had a beautiful breakfast at Clement yesterday. The setting was gorgeous and the ambiance perfect for the first cup of morning coffee. The cornflake French toast was a special treat and won't be forgotten anytime soon!! Beyond the beautiful setting and delicious food, we witnessed a kindness that was beyond generous!! A young mother was dining by herself with a small child and the waiter that was taking care of her offered to hold the baby while she ate. Heart...
The food was excellent, ingredients were fresh and the presentation was beautiful. We ordered the Caesar salad, Brussel sprouts salad, Chilean sea bass, risotto with lobster and pasta with truffles and for dessert, crème brûlée and chocolate cake. Service was superb, especially our main server, Nicolas, but everyone was very friendly and efficient, including the bartender in the lounge where we had mimosas before our lunch. We will definitely return to this great restaurant....
From the minute we stepped into the Penisula, we were treated like royalty. From the doorman to the host to the servers to the busboy, everyone was so friendly and welcoming! The Sunday brunch was amazing. The food and the world's best "pot" of hot chocolate were outstanding! The hotels Christmas decorations were absolutely gorgeous...the entire place was magical! My only regret was that we did not stay there, but absolutely will on our next trip to zNYC... thanks...
