If you want the perfect pancakes experience, look no further than Clinton St. Baking Company. This place absolutely lives up to the hype and then some.
I brought my dad here when he was visiting from LA and since he loves pancakes, I knew this spot had to deliver. We also came with a group of friends, and every single person at the table walked away impressed.
We ordered
1. Pancakes with warm maple butter and blueberries
2. Latke eggs Benedict
3. Clinton St. Omelette
The pancakes were phenomenal and I would absolutely order them again fluffy, golden, and loaded with flavor, especially with that famous warm maple butter. The Latke eggs Benedict was good and comforting, and the Clinton St. omelette was fresh and packed with great ingredients (what you would expect based)……
The vibe is exactly what you want from a neighborhood gem cozy, welcoming, and full of energy. Even when there’s a wait, it’s completely worth it. The staff is friendly, efficient, and makes sure you feel taken care of from the moment you walk in.
One tip reservations are hard to get, so definitely plan in advance. But trust me, it’s worth every bit of planning.

I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. The food is fantastic!! We had the chicken and waffles. We were visiting from ATL and my son had recommended this place. Make your reservations in advance and early because they books fast!

Wonderful sitr🎂👌🎁
We tried the blueberry pancakes and a bacon and cheese omelet and all was so delicious. The pictures I saw of the pancakes in other reviews were just as tasty as they looked. We got there 10 minutes after opening on a Tuesday morning and didn’t have to wait but it was filling up quickly!
Went for a first-time visit to ask if any seats were available, and was met with the rudest, nastiest lady who worked there. My partner and I didn’t even get the chance to fully walk inside before the employee with her stank attitude shouted at us “Can you let the door close?!?” Glad we didn’t bother waiting the 1.5 hours it would’ve taken to get seated. THIS is how you treat new customers?? We immediately walked out. By the way, it was the middle-aged woman with glasses who was extremely rude.

Was about to walk in to give this place a try and the lady working there literally screamed at me to close the door. I left without even bothering. Heard there was an hour and a half wait too so don’t waste your time
The BEST pancakes Ever!!!!!!! The service was amazing, all the workers were friendly..I’ve been going every week and I try something new off the menu and I have yet to be disappointed. The chicken and waffle was so good, The French Toast was so fluffy and sweet. The Fish Tacos have so many layers of amazing flavor. Hands down my favorite place to eat!!!

So great to try a new breakfast place. Long line on a Saturday morning. We were assured it was worth it and it was delicious. A big loud, bug that’ll happen when a place is crowded. Service was friendly.

Clinton Street Baking Co. absolutely lives up to the hype. The service and atmosphere were amazing — warm, welcoming, and super friendly. The staff recommended the blueberry pancakes and OMG that was the best decision ever. They were so soft, fluffy, and just incredible!
We also ordered the spinach & mushroom omelette with sourdough bread, and honestly… I could cry, it was THAT good. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and comforting in every way. The latte and cappuccino were smooth, rich, and the perfect pairing.
Overall, such a delightful experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic food and great vibes. I’m definitely coming back! 🫶✨

This is an insanely popular place, and for good reason. The breakfast items all looked amazing and huge. I ordered the Latke benedict, which was the best eggs benedict I’ve ever had. The staff were also all the sweetest people — some of the friendliest service I’ve had in the city.
Definitely book online ahead of time because you’ll have to wait up to an hour for walk in. It’s also a bit noisy, but you can still have a conversation. Would definitely recommend a visit!

This place is overhyped and overpriced, definitely a tourist trap. The food is just ok. The pancakes were a little bland, ihop pancakes have more flavor than these. The service was good, our server was very prompt. This place is very loud because they cram as many tables as possible into such a small space so the tables are uncomfortably close together. Wouldn’t return.
