Best Indian lunch special around and excellent quality of food and service. Around $15+ depending on what protein you like. I usually get the medium spicy shrimp korma. The set comes with fragrant rice, a samosa, some addictive warm naans- perfect for dipping into the curry. Also a tangy complimentary drink in a plastic pint. Great deal and very filling. I can't wait to come back for more. (Only item I didn't like was the samosas- the outer layer is too thick and doughy=not my thing)The man at the front is always kind and provides prompt and warm service without fail. Also, I miss their lunch buffet from like 5 years ago.

It’s fine. Rogan Josh was good, good amount of meat in the curry. The malai curry is bland. The raita is too expensive for what you get. They forgot an item in my take out order, but made it for me when I went back. One of the rices I got was starting to stale.I feel like Indian restaurants are trying to have a competition - who can sell a cheese naan with the least amount of cheese possible? Clove would win.

I just wasted $50 on this horrible tasting food, I got butter chicken, ( well that what I ordered) the food had no flavor chicken was dry that was they worst better chicken I’ve ever had could even eat it , do the person preparing the food? Taste the food is selling people because this is outrageous and something needs to be done about this. I need a full refund because I’m truly upset. PS don’t ever eat at this place. I Need A FULL REFUND !!!!

Went during lunch on a Friday and was seated very quickly and warmly by a very friendly host. Inside the restaurant can be cramped if it gets crowded, but thankfully it wasn't too bad when I was there early for lunch. The saag paneer was tasty and portions were more than enough for lunch (ended up taking home leftover rice and bread). Would recommend!

In 2023 it was delicious ? and Guess what in 2024 it's even better I truly love ❤️ this place. It's such a relaxing and sublime experience with by far some of the best customer service you could ever ask for. The food literally takes you on a journey to India and its magnificent cuisine my tongue each time I take bite it's like heaven and I must say please deserves more publicity because it's definitely a diamond ? in the rough. Highly recommend this beautiful little restaurant in uptown Manhattan literally across the street from city college. Thank you again for warming not only my body but also my spirit??

I got the chicken tikka, garlic cheese chilly naan and masala fries. I did not like the masala fries one bit, I was expecting flavored almost even orange looking masala fries that I myself can make. But these were literally just average fries (not bad!) but if I am ordering masala fries I do not want average fries obviously. The cheese chilly naan, was very good and I know most people would like it, I just thought it was a bit over seasoned (on the spicy side) but other than that I am sure most people would like it that spicy and that was just a ME thing. The chicken tikka was not as good as I am used to compared to other Indian places, it was very watery and should be more creamy like stew. The chicken was hard and did not marinate enough in the sauce and I just didn't like the taste as I wished I did :( sadly. But other than that I am sure this place is good, just want to give an honest review.

Ordered takeout from the restaurant. Was looking for Indian food around Washington Heights and this was one of the highest rated restaurants. Got chicken and samosa chaat. I can't comment on the chicken since that was for my friends. As for the samosa chaat, I was disappointed. Coming from New Jersey which has excellent Indian food, I've been struggling to find one in NYC that meets those standards. The samosa chaat wasn't made by the standard recipe. There were cucumbers and the chole (chickpea) were extremely spicy without further taste of the Indian spices. The sev looked like it was bought from an Indian store and the yogurt/tamarind chutney mix was essentially nonexistent. The samosa were standard but nothing remarkable. If you want okay Indian food, I wouldn't recommend since they just simply don't get the spice or taste right. It tasted like only red chili spice and nothing else. I had to dig and find the samosa on its own. I will most likely not be ordering from here again.
