Beautiful, hidden place, but terrible service and staff. I called twice before my reservation to let them know we will be coming late/if it was possible to change the time. No one picked up at all. When I arrived late, I let them know no one picked up. I understand the policy of having to let the table go after 15 minutes, but the hostess was very rude and didn't even apologize for how no one picks up the phone. It took so long for them to get to my table to ask what I wanted to order, so I didn't even want to get a drink.

Food was pretty bad for the price and took forever. Service was not very good, they brought us the wrong dish and we pointed it out they didn’t acknowledge it or apologize. Drinks are nice but expensive. The vibes is cool down there.

Feels like someone asked AI to create the mood for a speakeasy. While it understands the elements of a jazz-ish bar and is beautiful, it’s missing the soul. It is a bit fun to people watch because it’s mostly individuals in their 20s on a first date. If you go skip the food.

Gorgeous and unique experience. Cocktails were great and the truffle fries are amazing. We were fortunate enough to see the burlesque dance by Rosie Cheeks and she was absolutely stunning! Would definitely recommend and go again. Nice moody atmosphere. Loved it!

Visited on a Tuesday evening at 8:30pm. The place was empty so there wasn’t really a vibe we were hoping for. It’s dimly lit and decorated nicely. Our biggest issue was the fact that they advertise live jazz every night… the singer was performing Spanish songs, nothing to do with Jazz. Although a good performer, a bit of a let down as their website states jazz. We closed the check after one drink and left to go elsewhere.

We went on a Saturday night and didn’t know they had a burlesque show. The waitress told us it’s every Saturday, and on other nights they have a short show where someone sings some jazz classics.
The cocktail prices are very reasonable compared to other spots in the area.

To be honest, this place is really good. I read some of the bad reviews, and it seems like people are expecting VIP service or something high-end. But for what you’re paying, those expectations are a bit much.
What I really liked about this place, especially compared to so many other spots in NYC, are the prices. In this area, the average price for a cocktail is around $20, but here, they keep it below that—even for a speakeasy. And the cocktails are genuinely tasty. I tried the sliders and croquettes, and both were delicious. The space itself isn’t huge, which gives it a cozy, warm vibe.
As for the entertainment, there’s someone singing classic jazz songs. It’s a nice touch—not a huge show, but they don’t charge extra for it, unlike other places.
Overall, it’s a great spot. My friend and I had a really good time, and I even came back for a date. It’s not a party scene, but it’s perfect for a date night or a relaxed catch-up with friends.
