The service wasn’t that great , the drinks were pretty cool. I asked if they served Don Julio and the server said no , I looked on the website and they do. I showed him and he said that the shots were $22 . . . . Not sure what that was about, I’m aware of how pricey Don Julio can be but that’s what I like . The DJ was cool also . I’m not sure if I’ll go back I didn’t feel too welcomed

Cocteleria Perla Negra never fails to provide a wonderful, quality evening with sophisticated drinks such as the modified pina colada. Out of the two visits to Perla Negra, the modified pina colada stands out as simply exquisite, sweet, subtle, and unique. There was also a cinnamon-y drink that stood out - I do forget the name. Overall, me and my friends enjoyed the delicate & intimate ambiance, and I and we can’t wait to come back. The bartenders and staff are all wonderful and also contribute to our experience.

Went in for a quick drink to meet a friend. Really nice cozy vibe. The cocktails looked good. One of the owners was behind the bar and was super nice. His name was Francis.
Had the AZTEC GOLD Mezcal, Yellow Chartreause Yellow Bell Pepper Juice, Lime Cane Syrup, Smoked Puya Peppers.
Nice smooth drink. They burn the pepper on top with a touch which enhances the flavor profile.
Definitely want to go back here. It's my kinda of cozy bar.
The food on other people's plates looked good, so I definitely want to try it.

I grew up in this neighborhood and these are the types of businesses I welcome. Great vibe. Tucked away off Broadway. Good bites. Cocktails are pricey but they have a happy hour menu. Def a great date spot. Quiet and moody. Parking in the area is a nightmare but the subway is on 139 and 145. Easy walk from either station.

We enjoyed cocktails while waiting for a table at a nearby ramen restaurant. I loved the unique coquita made with matcha. The espresso martini was rich and chocolatey. Cozy and exotic atmosphere! Friendly staff!

I live upstairs on the 2nd floor I feel bad for those under me the music is so loud my floor vibrates I understand it’s nyc but on a Sunday night almost 1am. I have tried calling to complain but never get a hold of them

2 stars; 1 for the drinks and 1 for the ambience. But the waiter kept giving us a very wonky vibe almost like he didn’t want us to be there. If you’re having a day fine, but not even one smile is weird and getting annoyed because I asked to switch tables once a clean one opened up just means your patience is not there. Nice drinks I guess
