I’ve been to Coletta many times! Great ambience. While the vegan pizza is still a classic (especially the Wild Mushroom Truffle), the quality of the main cheese used seems to have changed over the years. But the vegan ricotta still is unparalleled. The vegan pizza is fantastic! Ordered the following this last time: - Wild Mushroom Truffle - Cacio e Pepe I’ve previously tried the following which I’d recommend: - Lumache all’s Vodka - Ricotta Ravioli
Really fab menu with great options making it very difficult to choose. I had the mushroom pasta and it was delicious.
Wow wow wow! There is no other word to describe this restaurant. From the food to the ambiance and service, I was stunned. Delightful, decadent, and DAMN good.
This is such a lovely place — the ambiance, the people and especially the food! The Puttanesca Meatballs were amazing. I ordered the Ricotta Raviolis and those were delicious too!
The food is overall good, but the service is generally poor. We had to wait almost 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated, and then there was no accommodation offered. For what they charge, the least they could’ve done was comped us a round of drinks or an appetizer or dessert. But they did nothing.

Wow. Amazed by the food here. Completely blew me away. All vegan all artful. So rich and tasty. The garlic knots were stellar.

I was extremely excited to try this restaurant during a recent trip to NYC. Lovely staff, cute restaurant, and good food. I would recommend giving this place a try if you haven’t already. BUT, I do have some notes!
My partner got the lasagna and LOVED it. I managed to convince him to let me try some and I understood why he gave me side eye when I asked to try it. I got the carbonara which I wasn’t a fan. If you love non-vegan carbonara or at least have had it before and might have some expectation for the dish then this will disappoint. It was just very bland.
The dessert saved the day for me, which was the tiramisu. I’d go back just to have dessert I enjoyed it that much.
Overall, I’d definitely go back and recommend others to give it a try. I’d just advise people wanting pasta to not do the carbonara.

This place is definitely worth checking out! The appetizers were DELICIOUS, as were the pasta and meat dishes. Personally, I would skip their pizzas as I’ve had better vegan pizza for cheaper. Otherwise though a near perfect place if you’re willing to pay the price

Cozy atmosphere, friendly service. Vegan substitute calamari and grilled chicken are virtually indistinguishable from the real stuff. The salmon is a bit too mushroom flavor forward. The risotto can convert those who previously avoided the dish.
The menu is a bit edgy without getting ridiculously pretentious flavor combinations. Prices are for those willing to pay a little more for creative vegan dishes you probably won't get every day at home.

Coletta felt authentically Italian - the pasta was perfectly al dente, sauces were deep and rich, and the desserts were heavenly. The vibe was cozy yet elevated. I couldn't believe it was vegan even through the last bite. Absolutely coming back

I wasn't prepared for how good everything would taste. Lots of flavor! As someone who just relocated nearby, this place is a great find. The employees were remarkably pleasant - wholly authentic. We made the right call eating here.

One of the best vegan restaurants in NYC, ambiance is lovely, highly recommend the cheese plate, calamari rings, chunk steak and chicken spedini. Wine selection is very good and well priced. Great choice for a special occasion.
