Wanted an early lunch after a long Central Park walk so popped to Columbus Cafe for a sandwich. My daughter and I both enjoyed a Reuben and some decent coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful, prices reasonable for New York aswell, Thanks.

Strange cut of meat for BLT... I ordered a Bacon, Lettuce Tomato sandwich and they served it with a cut of beef bacon or some of thick, hardly edible, and fatty slab of meat that was definitely NOT bacon. Didn't even tell me that there was a substitution happening for a classic sandwich... Would avoid

......... Why doesn't your establishment have a seating policy? Most places have a 30 minute limit while consuming food. Every time I eat at your cafe you have people that are loitering and taking up space and it's not fair to customers that have paid. There was this one senior citizen that literally fell asleep. Please look into this thank you

Avoid the BLT sandwich at all costs. Instead of using bacon, they use a strange piece of beef that resembles bacon but tastes nothing like it. It is definitely not bacon. Inedible! What a disappointment. They should have just informed me that they were out of bacon. Furthermore, I could potentially have an allergic reaction to whatever they decided to substitute it with. Usualy i got coffee and muffin but i do not think inwill go bacon. This fake BLT, made me questioned the whole food integrity of their entire menu.

Been coming here for a few years now. Last two visits the tuna fish and the egg salad were almost frozen. Nobody's friendly, no body cares. When i mentioned the sandwich, it fell on deaf ears. They should just close.
