Might be even better than the first location. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. The Cadillac nachos are to die for. Burger is 10/10 and drinks are always on point.

I visited this place on 11/14/24 at 4:00pm because my mom wanted to try the chicken sandwich for her birthday but she wasn’t able to because the female bartender was very rude. We walked in and instead of greeting us she told us we don’t have everything on the menu today. She told us we could sit wherever we wanted and after 45 minutes of waiting, she tells us we had to sit at the bar to order food. I feel very unwelcome and I would never visit this place again. I guess me and my mom weren’t welcome here because our skin color was to tan. Do yourself a favor and go to Popeyes instead of this place.

I actually really like this new location. A little off the beaten path of the center of east village. Gotta love a 70s vibe with vinyl booths, frozen drinks, and fish tanks. The fried chicken is great too.

Commodore in Manhattan's Lower East Side is a true gem, boasting a beautifully designed interior that perfectly blends a casual vibe with a touch of elegance. The build-out features warm wooden accents and stylish decor, creating an inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxed meal.

The standout dish is undoubtedly the spicy fish sandwich. It’s a perfect balance of flavors, with a crispy exterior and a spicy kick that keeps you coming back for more. Paired with their perfectly seasoned French fries, it makes for a satisfying and delicious meal.

Overall, Commodore offers a great dining experience, combining excellent food with a charming ambiance. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

Probably on my top 3 to 5 fried chicken spots in NYC!
Crispy, juicy , mosit. Wow. And the portions are large!

I love fried chicken and on a search to try some of the best in the city.

Eater recently listed them as one of the best fried chicken spots in the City.

It's a family affair with the staff here.Kitchen and front of house are all cousins and real good people. The menu is Soul and Mexican fusion.

The bar is really nice with tropical, retro vibes , with a couple of fish tanks. It's definitely a spot I want to come back to.

They have a spot in Williamsburg that's been around for a while. This spot opened recently.

The sandwich is huge, and so is the fried chicken. The portions here are serious!

Brined for 24 hours, dipped in a buttermilk batter and seasoned flour fried and served with biscuit and 3 sauces and including an insane honey butter! The others are a vinegar and mild hot sauce.

If you like fried chicken, definitely go here and say hi to Eric, Itzel Quinn, Milton, Adolfo and Lucas

Big thank you to the staff for their kind hospitality when I wad there

The bar looks cool and I definitely want to go again.

I saw a few burgers go out and they looked good. Need to try it.

Fantastic atmosphere and if you're sitting at a table, service is fantastic, at the bar not so much. Unsmiling bartenders are not friendly and will not even say thank you. And honest to God, while good, I can walk a couple of blocks to BobWhite Counter to get a much better and delicious (and cheaper) chicken sandwich. This is after three visits to give them time to figure everything out.
