Did my lap around the reservoir and worked up a real hankerin’ for shrimp tacos. Slid over to Conmigo on the UES. Had a margarita, classic and crisp. Then the tacos hit Spicy, fresh, shrimp cooked just right. Chips ‘n guac on the side? Delish. Simple, solid, exactly what I needed. this place is definitely worth the NYC walk.
Great music pumping through the speakers and a shout out to the bartender on duty. He was running the entire front of the house bartender, host, waiter, food pickups. he also was kind enough to make me a drink that wasn't on the menu anymore and it did not disappoint!

Place looks nice but that’s it. No chips and salsa for the table. Flautas were tasteless and quesadilla had nothing with it no pico de gallo guac or any other usual stuff. Not worth the price. Waiter didn’t speak Spanish and barely understood English. the vibe wasn’t there at all. Would not return.

I honestly don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews. I went in on July 3 and ordered two chicken and carnitas tacos for myself and my kid. Big mistake. I ended up with terrible food poisoning, and my child was vomiting nonstop. 🚫 If you can avoid this place, please do.
The service was slow, and the food was awful—cold, overcooked, and honestly looked like leftovers. Two tacos for $15? Definitely not worth it. I’m never coming back.

The Mexican corn slapped. My chicken flauta was overcooked. The brisket burrito was where it was at. Couldn’t get tacos here, 2 for $15 is not a good deal.

Oddly empty when we showed up, and even more strange considering how freaking good it was. My wife & I split the burrito & the chicken tacos 🤤 We also got the rice & beans and chips and salsa and were stuffed. We will absolutely be back.

Staff is friendly enough but the service here is so, so slow—even if it’s not busy. I’m talking: by the time your drinks finally come, the food comes right after (so like a 15-minute wait for drinks, which everyone in the industry knows should arrive much sooner); servers don’t really check back on the table, and when you are able to flag them down for the check, it doesn’t come until you remind them again another probably 15 minutes later. And I don’t exaggerate. The tacos and quesadilla taste great, though! The rice and beans, here, however, are way over priced and could easily be made at home with canned beans and sazón
