We were greeted with a warm welcome and smile, brought to our table, asked for a drink order after viewing the menu and then our orders were taken. Four of us were at the table. We enjoyed a steak, a roasted chicken, a very large, loaded potato and a chicken pot pie. All were prepared as we had ordered them. We enjoyed an espresso and a slice of Irish cream cheese cake. The wait staff was near every time we needed them. Our meal was very good and we will return.
One of our favorite places for dinner in NYC. Great food, nice selection, excellent service. I highly recommend the rooftop in the evenings, the roof actually closes and opens weather depending! Also strongly recommend reservations
Staff was friendly. Food was good, came out fast but not clear in certain food choices for gluten free. Table next to use had very loud inconsiderate 6 women screaming over each other and the restaurant was nit crowded
Ridiculous price for a few drinks and 2 ceaser salads plus they take a massive tipp for bad service 27$ tipp taken out of our bill for nothing as we were well dissatisfied with the service and attitude in general It’s not a 5 star restaurant you have but you charge 5 star prices
Came here after a matinee (with three kids). Something for everyone. Service was wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff. I ordered the chicken pot pie and it was delicious.
While not a negative experience, dinner at Connolly's was nothing to write home about. I don't remember the last time I had a Reuben sandwich that was bland. The food was undistinguished, the service acceptable but not great. The restaurant looked like it could use a good steam clean - everything looked a little greasy and tired.
Every time I go into NYC, Connolly‘s is always one of the lunch or dinner spots. Whether it's a single day, a weekend or a week, I'm there at least once.
Our entrees were delicious but our food score is a 4 and not a 5 because our dessert, which was $12 for a small slice of cake, was not good. There was also no toilet paper in the women's room and I had to tell 4 people before it was restocked.
The three of us had a really nice pre-theater lunch at this wonderful Irish pub. We ordered the chicken teriyaki dumplings and the big hot baked potato for our appetizers which were absolutely delicious. The Greek goddess salad and the Applewood grilled chicken sandwiches were plated beautifully and tasted absolutely amazing. The only disappointing fact was that our server, as nice as she was, had too many tables to take care of, so it was a little bit tough getting her attention when we needed something. But once we got her attention she fulfilled all of our requests.
All the food seemed to have been previously frozen and or provided by Sysco the premade food distributor Went before a theater, but have no expectation that the food would be of any better or different quality at any other time. The waitress was very pleasant and competent. I had worked around the corner for about 10 years and never had a desire to go here don't know what made me change my mind, but I won't go back.

Have been to Connolly's on W. 45th several times. Brought my granddaughters and they like the food and the comfortable atmosphere. Servers were friendly and food came out in a timely manner so no chance we would miss our theater time.
This is a nice relaxed pub in the heart of the Theater District. The seating is very comfortable, with lots of booths for all-sized groups. The food is pub food and very good. The Guinness pour I got was like being in Ireland. Service is warm, friendly, and professional. Prices are fair. The noise level is moderate. There is music, but it is somewhat low, not blasting. We had no trouble talking with each other. The bar itself had a good crowd and looked like a wonderful place to just grab a drink. This will be my new go-to place when I'm in the area.
Food was good and so was the service. The venue is very dark and it was quite noisy. We would still visit again
Went to Connolly's before seeing a play. They were wonderful! Food delicious and great, friendly service, and was comfortable and sparkling clean. Made sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner to make the play. Highly recommend this restaurant and plan on visiting it again!!
Prompt and friendly service. Food arrived quickly which we appreciated for a pre-theater luncheon.
