Service was great, it was convenient before a Broadway show & a good value for NYC. Burger was very good, chicken out pie not so good. Chicken meat was cubed/processed. Overall, it was fine but not impressive.
Stopped in for a drink it was hot and muggy in NY. Great selection of beer and it waa cold! Decided to order a bite to eat. The Shepard pie was a perfect portion but felt like it needed more flavor.
By pure luck, we walked into Connolly's and had one of our best meals ever. Many return visits later, service still impresses. With minor exceptions, the food was excellent. Get a few plates to share around the table. I endorsed this good spot to many.
