The three of us had a really nice pre-theater lunch at this wonderful Irish pub. We ordered the chicken teriyaki dumplings and the big hot baked potato for our appetizers which were absolutely delicious. The Greek goddess salad and the Applewood grilled chicken sandwiches were plated beautifully and tasted absolutely amazing. The only disappointing fact was that our server, as nice as she was, had too many tables to take care of, so it was a little bit tough getting her attention...
Have been to Connolly's on W. 45th several times. Brought my granddaughters and they like the food and the comfortable atmosphere. Servers were friendly and food came out in a timely manner so no chance we would miss our theater time.
This is a nice relaxed pub in the heart of the Theater District. The seating is very comfortable, with lots of booths for all-sized groups. The food is pub food and very good. The Guinness pour I got was like being in Ireland. Service is warm, friendly, and professional. Prices are fair. The noise level is moderate. There is music, but it is somewhat low, not blasting. We had no trouble talking with each other. The bar itself had a good crowd and looked like a wonderful place...
