Loved everything about our dinner here! Even though the room was open, we could hear each other talk. The food was amazing from appetizers to dessert. One of my favorite places in New York City

We had a wonderful dinner at Cookshop - so great that we forgot to take photos of our food! The chilled tomato soup was a standout in the appetizers, and the corn on the cob went beautifully with my scallop entree. The service was warm and generous - and with helpful guidance on wines and food! The desserts were out of this world. Overall, the dishes were inventive and perfectly prepared. This was our first visit to Cookshop and I look forward to returning!

The huevos rancheros were the highlight of our brunch!
But even the poached eggs on the fresh tomatoes were amazing.

I’ve eaten at Cookshop for years and often order the same thing. Unfortunately the dish I usually order is now 50% more expensive! Definitely not worth the price. Really cynical move. Won’t be returning.

Cookshop in Chelsea was such a standout. The vibe is lively but easy, with a steady energy that feels both local and special. From the moment we walked in, Madison and Pierce at the front welcomed us with warmth and genuine kindness. They set the tone for the rest of the night.
Edwin was fantastic with his recommendations, and Chef Luis came out personally to adjust my salad after I mentioned craving something like a Caesar. That level of attention is rare and made the whole experience feel personal and thoughtful.
The focaccia with whipped ricotta was pillowy, warm, and perfectly salted. I absolutely loved the little gem lettuces and the grilled chicken breast, which was simple, juicy, and full of flavor. The corn was a big hit, and the roasted cauliflower was deeply caramelized and comforting. I didn’t love the tomato-braised Romano beans—they were a bit oily—and without me even asking, they took them off the bill. That gesture alone speaks volumes about the care this team puts into hospitality.
I also asked for a surprise round of sauces, and they delivered a fun, creative little selection. Everyone we interacted with had a smile, and the whole evening felt easy and special. Cookshop is a place I’ll absolutely return to.

Yummy experience! Outdoor is so fun. I always wanted to come and finally made it. Sal was so sweet and helpful and made our night with fresh strawberry dessert. Very friendly fun place definitely coming back.

Not complaints on the food or service. Everything was fresh and the waiter was attentive. A bit loud indoors so we sat outside and enjoyed the sun. Cute neighborhood brunch spot

Had the huevos rancheros at Cookshop for brunch on Derrek’s recommendation—absolutely delicious. His service was spot on: warm, professional, friendly, and never overbearing. A perfect brunch experience!

I’ve been here twice in the last few years and Cookshop is definitely becoming my go-to spot to take friends when they visit me in the city (especially since so many of them come in from the west side).
Service is fantastic, food is fresh & delish, and the vibe is cool.
On this last visit, my friend and I split the heirloom tomato salad. For our main dishes, she had the falafel sandwich and I opted for the grilled cheese, both great choices.
Tables seat small or large groups and there’s outside seating as well. Highly recommend checking this place out next time you’re venturing a trek into NYC.

Cook shop you should call raw shop learn how to cook a burger! Served raw and they still charge me for the extra tomato. The manager explained it’s a farm to fresh restaurant- We have the best tomatoes he explained. I think the idea of serving a raw burger and making people wait an hour and a half to eat lunch went right over his head after he removed the $2 tomatoe slice!
Never again.

Stopped for drinks and a small bite - delicious spicy margarita for my wife and two great, bright, and fresh salads (heirloom tomato and mixed vegetable). Worth a visit if you are in the area

Amazing as always. Such a well run show with beautiful characters and always giving cast. Hats off to chef but the award goes to Manager, and front of house for juggling all DURING A HURRICANE. Thank you always for your service and hospitality ❤️
