I began ordering meals from this company earlier this year and was immediately disappointed—not only was the food underwhelming, but the packaging was also poorly done. After a short time, I decided to pause my membership since they make it extremely difficult to fully cancel. There’s no way to speak with a real person, only email, which is frustrating. I eventually figured out how to cancel, yet they still charged me $92 for a subscription. When I reached out for a refund, they refused, claiming I had only paused, not canceled. This feels like a scam. The food quality is mediocre, the packaging is terrible, and their customer service is nonexistent. There are far better meal prep services out there.

Cook Unity is a great meal service. We've used them for over a year. Quality, delivery and customer service are great and consistent. One of the things we like best is the amount of meal choices that are available! ..including fish and shrimp at no additional charge.

The meals are exceptional, although the cook time/temp needs to be adjusted. Only complaint is with the shipping to a hot climate... That said, customer service always accommodates when they aren't cold on arrival.

I wanted a meal delivery plan that had easy to microwave meals. I also wanted one that gave me the option to have low sodium meals (most other plans are good in most things but the sodium is too high). Glad CookUnity has good options.
I want to give this service more stars since the food is really good. However the customer service is all through email..I have been having an issue with my promo that I signed up with and I have literally emailed back and forth with 7 different people. All of those people told me different things. The first person gave me 10% off due to my hassle which in turn kicked me off the promo it's taken 15 emails and 2 weeks of back and forth for someone to tell me that the discount can't be stacked with the promo! You also can't use the promos in the app apparently or at least that's what one person said. It's been more trouble than it's worth.

All the food that the chefs make look really delicious. I like the fact there are options low sodium, low fat, no carbs, et cetera. This saves me from having to eat healthy and tasty. I don’t cook so this is the best solution for me. I had trouble navigating through the site Customer Service experience were extremely helpful. I’ve chose my menu and I’m looking forward to the Delivery.

I’ve been using CookUnity for almost 2 years and it’s made my life so much easier not having to cook. Meals are tasty, change seasonally so I dont get bored, and delivery in NYC is reliable, food always arrives cold.
Only downsides for me are the auto meal selector (wish it let me split between vegetarian for me and chicken for my partner) and sometimes the portions arent consistent. I’ve had the same meal a few weeks in a row and the amount can vary.
