Great food, and great selections. If you are a forgetful person, then this program might not be for you. I HATE how it AUTOFILLS your orders and places your order if you forget by the deadline. Which sucks because I'm a very forgetful person so I always forget to select my meals and I'm a picky eater, so instead of 8 wonderful meals I get like 3 or 4 then some bullshit that I would never order. I am discontinuing my membership because it has now become more of a hassle than a convenience.

Even though I missed my deadline for picking my meals, the customer service department was able to rectify the situation by allowing me to change up the meals that were automatically selected for me. Very efficient, quick and polite customer service. The meals are always delicious and packed to stay at a safe temperature when en route to my home. I highly recommend this meal service!

If you stick to highly rated foods (at least 4.0), the food is almost always good. I've been loving the quality of ingredients, taste, and portion size.
My only wish is that there were MORE details / specifics on the nutritional information on each dish such as cholesterol. The interface for ordering food is also a bit buggy and laggy at times, you have to be patient occasionally.
All that being said, CookUnity has the best customer support team I have ever experienced. They text back quickly, are always kind, and are REAL people!

Tried Cook Unity becoz they added Krakatoa to their menu. The best Indonesian food in South Florida now delivered weekly to my door. Can't beat that. Have tried other chefs too and so far they haven't disappointed.
The meals were delivered without any problems. All packages arrived intact, no damages. I was pleasantly surprised with the returnable bag. Always felt a bit bad having to throw away so much packaging and ice with the other services like Factor or Freshly. CU is working out so far...and glad for the reduction to carbon footprint.
Fast forward and it's been more than a year now we have been with CU. They added more local chefs so there's even more choices to pick from. The quality of their ingredients remain high, and love that they still deliver using the cooler bags that are collected back each week. So much better than the mountain of boxes and packaging to throw every week. Everything is recyclable! Looking forward to another year. I have to fight with fam for fans these days!

The healthy options have been a game-changer for me. There are tons of nutritious choices that actually taste good, and they clearly label everything so you know exactly what you're getting in terms of calories, protein, etc.
Their customer service is solid too. When one of my meals arrived with a torn package, they immediately made it right and refunded me without any hassle. It was a small hiccup, but the way they handled it actually made me trust them more.
Overall, CookUnity has been worth every penny. The food quality is consistently good, there's plenty of variety to keep me from getting bored, and they clearly care about keeping their customers happy. Finally a meal delivery service I can get behind! Up until recently, I'd only been a fan of SAKARA, but they're super expensive and I got sick of most of their dinners (still love their breakfasts though). My fiance tried all the other meal delivery services (Factor, Freshly (RIP) etc.) but would always get sick of them and they never seemed well balanced enough for me to get on board. But since we both work long hours on weekdays we really needed a meal delivery service. Insert CookUnity: Soooo many options and so much variety that neither of us have gotten sick of it, and you really can find what you're looking for! We like the more balanced, lower calorie meals but we'll occasionally splurge on a cheat meal. I always look at the ingredients to steer clear of the more preservative heavy ones (CookUnity team, if you're reading this can you try to ditch/minimize the preservatives?) - some of their meals are a miss, and I steer clear of pre-made fish (too fishy - but I can't really hold that against them) - but other than that I think it's as good as you can get for the price and it's allowed us to incorporate some much needed variety into our weekly meals! Thank you CookUnity for making the world a tastier place :)
PS I'm only speaking for LA, but we haven't had any issues with delivery. It always comes on Sundays around 3pm, it's left at our door in a chilled bag with ice packs no refrigeration issues.
