My husband wasn't happy with the quantity or quality of some of the meals, so we discontinued the service. I appreciate their delivery method where the bags are recirculated after each delivery. I ended up with two of them since I forgot to leave one out prior to our decision to stop the service. I wrote and asked about getting the bags back to them, and I was advised to just keep them. Environmentally, Cook Unity has the best plan of other food services that we tried. No boxes or bulky ice bags to deal with. I also appreciate the communication that I received when I asked my question.

All I did was look at their meals on their website and they chose my meals for me as well as a delivery date… When I will not even be home and charged my credit card! When contacted to dispute the order and charge placed without my authorization, their customer service basically said “too bad “. With other services the menus were fairly static and did not change very often. Also quality of food is very good. Other companies I tried meals that I did not enjoy. I've tried other prepared meal delivery services and I have to say Cook Unity had the most impressive delivery package - the containers, the recipe slip covers, the bag.
The food was also delicious warmed up - rice was moist, sauces were tasty etc. Most did feel like restaurant meals. Recipes are unique and not boring though I tend to prefer the premium ones.
Customer service has been responsive and great.
My only complaint is that some of the recipes have ingredients that we don't eat when we cook at home like preservatives, corn syrup, seed oils. They don't all have them but you have to look into the details before selecting meals if you care about this. All in all an innovative and responsive service for pre-cooked meals.
