Do not recommend. I signed up for the first time discounted meal plan to try it out. I received the meals on a Wednesday and by Friday they were already asking for my next purchase. By Saturday, I received an email confirming a purchase of randomized assortment of meals selected by CookUnity. I reached out to out to cancel the order (same day) as I didn’t know authorize the scheduled meal plan and come to find out they automatically subscribed me to their meal plan without my consent. They then proceed to say they cannot cancel the order or accept returns.
Food is OK thus far, portions aren’t ideal, customer service isn’t helpful. There are a bunch of different meal prep options, I wouldn’t waste your time on this one, not worth it, even at the discounted prices.

Great Food! Excellent Selections and Quality. Only downside is the price. Meals ranging from $12-15+. I can go down to my local Whole Foods and get a similarly prepared meal for $9-10.
If this meal service offered these same meals priced at $8-10 I’d be sold. But as of now, there are other options that are cheaper enough to switch to them.

No complaints for the most part. Some meals have tasted amazing and on the money for portion size. A couple meals weren’t to my liking but not for quality and quantity.
The 1st order was 4 portions of 4 meals that I’m familiar with and enjoy. They were all great.
The 2nd order was auto picked for 16 different meals. 14 out of 16 were meals that I would eat multiple times a week or month. 3rd order was picked my me and some were meals we had on the 1st order. They were that good.
We use another meal service for other days of the week and have been for years. We have tried 6 different ones in total. Our family is happy and still eat out once a week or so. Saves time and stress. Price to pay is fair.
Yes, cooking your own ingredients is cheaper but that doesn’t work for everyone. We do cook 3 to 4 days a week. This was to help the kid eat better while on summer break. Turns out, we all like it.

Support is responsive and helpful. This also remains affordable for a single person in our current economy. I spend about $300 per paycheck on 24 meals. With groceries as expensive as they are CookUnity is a great option that will remain consistent.

Great food, and great selections. If you are a forgetful person, then this program might not be for you. I HATE how it AUTOFILLS your orders and places your order if you forget by the deadline. Which sucks because I'm a very forgetful person so I always forget to select my meals and I'm a picky eater, so instead of 8 wonderful meals I get like 3 or 4 then some bullshit that I would never order. I am discontinuing my membership because it has now become more of a hassle than a convenience.
