I wandered around the Natural History Museum and happened to find this restaurant, which was rated Michelin 2025. The food was amazing. I ordered fish tacos and chilaquiles rojos, both very authentic, spicy, layered, and full of flavor. Sergio is also incredibly nice, and he introduced the restaurant’s signature dishes and even shared stories about his hometown. Now I really want to go to South America this year.

Great vegetarian options for Mexican. Innovative mix of different foods from across Mexican cuisine. Interesting use of ash as a spice/garnish as well on a number of items. I had a snapper mole, guac, margarita and a special sweet house digestif. All were delicious and just a little bit interesting.

We came in with a large group of adults and a few kids and they were amazingly kind and so accommodating. The drinks were yummy and our server was so kind and funny. Thank you for a very memorable New Year’s Eve- we will be back!

Stopped by Covacha after a day at The Museum. What a wonderful restaurant. Decor and vibe was very appealing and service was great. Mescal-Rita was tasty as was house red wine. Food, appetizers, entrees and dessert were delicious. I also liked the no pressure vibe. Had a 2 hour dinner with my family and enjoyed every minute. I definitely recommend and will return when in New York City.

Cozy, nice vibe, and excellent drinks. We had a few apps, fish tacos and chicken enchiladas, and everything was bursting with color and flavor. It reminded us or the food we had on our drive around rural places in Yucatan. Will be back for sure.

Walked in for a late lunch and was very impressed first by the service, and second by the food! Great vegetarian options, and the tacos are full of flavour. We will be back next time we are in NYC!

Loved the menu as it catered for vegan, vegetarian and meat lovers.

Horrible...they may be a place more for a drink then dinner. The menu for food is Very Limited...and the foid presentation was very poor...the food was nothing to rave about pretty basic. Frankly I cook better Mexican dishes at home and im not Mexican...
delivers! All of the food was outstanding. The guacamole ashes looked beautiful and was a little different. The quesadilla negra was exceptional. The sauce and the crema worked so well together, lots of texture. The barbaco tapatia was perfectly cooked, crispy outer layer, rich and tender beef. The tortillas were well made. I thought the rice and the beans could use more flavor. The service was fast.
