This is the second time I have eaten here and it was even better than the first. The food, service, ambiance, and decor and all top notch. We don't drink alcohol but Craft has a variety of wonderful mock-tails We are also gluten free and they were able to accommodate us. I look forward to our next time.

The attention to Dtail was great, told them it was our 30th anniversary and the menu that we got had that printed on it, it was very special Food was delicious and Service was top-notch Will go back again and again

Unbelievably slow on a relatively quiet night for seemingly no reason (e.g., the bread alone came out 30+ mins after we sat down). The cherry on top was the fish coming out completely undercooked, at which point you reexamine whether all of the other aspects of the earlier food you didn't like were mistakes and not just stylistic choices. Like the salad and the gnocchi both being quite plain and bland (especially the salad which was a hunk of lettuce and seemingly nothing else). And at the end, our server seemed completely unsurprised at the fish coming out raw and the service being so slow, making me think this is just par for the course there. Weird and disappointing experience.

Always a stellar experience. Everything from the front desk, to the wait staff, to the bar staff are outstanding. Food is always thoughtful and elegant without being fussy or silly. Great wine list and cocktails. One of our top 5 places in NYC.

They need to go back to the family style menu we have loved for years. The individual style is just ridiculous

Craft never disappoints - from grilled octopus and foie gras apps and snapper + duck mains, to apple tarte tatin and marshmallow semifreddo, the food and service (Daniela) were amazing.

Updated Oct 2025: another great meal at Craft. From grilled octopus and oysters, to duck and scallops, everything was perfectly prepared and delivered with attentive, personable service.

Another excellent experience at the bar at Craft. They do it right from the moment you walk in - I had a lovely chat with their maitre d Anita before settling in at the bar. Fabricio took great care of me, and I overheard him charming both regulars and new guests as more folks trickled in.

The orange wine from Slovenia was delicious, and I love their rotating Cab Franc selection. It bears repeating, the amuse bouche is a lost art, and their seasonal butternut squash soup with chestnut foam was beautifully executed. Might start making a habit of ending my workdays at Craft!

We did the tasting menu and it was all very good. Nothing disappointed us and we would go back there again

Stellar, sublime and quietly sophisticated. Thoughtful crated space that is both elegant and comfortable. All of which supports the level and quality of our meal which beginning to end was exceptional. In a City filled with great restaurants this one rivals

I struggled to give this a 4 if I’m honest. We came once before, a few years ago, for our anniversary and it was amazing. Most memorable, delicious meal I can remember having. Worth every penny. This visit was disappointing by comparison. They menu had changed and now the portions are more individualized, but somehow cost just as much if not more. The scallop dish came with just 3 scallops for more than $50. And while they were good, they weren’t anything amazing that I couldn’t get a local restaurant for less! We also had the duck, which I will say was worth every penny. The dessert we had was good, but again nothing special. From Tom Colicchio I expected special. Service was very good, but we were there for a 40th birthday and again didn’t feel very special by comparison of far cheaper local restaurants we’ve been to who have done more. For the price tag, and comparing to a previous experience, this visit made me hesitant to come back in the future.
