We love dining at Crave Fishbar. The food is always delicious, and the restaurant as some unusual combinations. However, the last few times we have been there, the drinks and the food have come out interminably slow. Although the food is worth waiting for, we find ourselves getting quite impatient. This is unfortunate because the food servers are attentive and personable and the food is great. We wish the kitchen could hasten their preparation as currently the wait time detracts from the dining experience.

It was sort of like our server forgot about us... I don't really know what happened... But it ended up working out. We just had to like flag down servers and get up sometimes to get our drinks and food orders in. That's never happened before though. Anyway, good was great!

This place is AMAZING!! Had the oysters, fish tacos and seared tuna entree. I'm not sure there's a better place on the UWS for food and friendly vibe. This place has way better oysters than the Mermaid Inn which were disappointing, and the service at Crave was much better too! Definitely going back soon!

The seared tuna and squid ink pasta with shrimp was amazing!! We started with the salmon sashimi tostadas which were also great. Highly recommend if you are looking for a seafood filled dinner. Great cocktail and wine options as well! Will definitely be back. The mains are on the pricier side but the quality and serving size made it worth it.

We had such a great time at Crave Fishbar! We made it just in time for happy hour, and Jess, our brilliant server, made sure we ordered THE BEST oysters. We also enjoyed the restaurant week menu. Everything was delicious! A perfect dining experience!
Perfect if you love oysters like we do!! We went during happy hour and it was amazing. We were able to try a bunch of small plates and 2 rounds of oysters at happy hour prices. We will definitely go back!!

We had a great experience at Crave!! The restaurant manager, Jeremy, is a true oyster expert. He help us pick out some amazing oysters from his favorite spots and they were all interestingly different and very tasty. Also, the suggested wine pairing, a Sav Blanc from Loire valley, was a perfect complement. We were there during restaurant week which offered a nice selection in a three course menu. Overall fun dinner...highly recommend if you are in NYC on upper west side.

I came here on Saturday night in mid July for a 745pm dinner a pleasant weather day with two other people. The reservation for the restaurant was booked less a week prior. The restaurant didn’t seem to be close to full at any point during our experience so a reservation might not always be needed. Note that is table seating in the front bar area as well as in the primary dining room, in addition to outside seating.
I really wanted to like this restaurant. The menu looked great. The atmosphere of the restaurant is super charming and on theme. Our server was attentive, pleasant, and knowledgeable of the menu. I also tremendously appreciate the sustainable aspect of the menu and business. Unfortunately the food just tasted sort of like nothing. Everyone at the table agreed.
I wouldn’t refuse to go back to this restaurant if someone suggested it, but I also wouldn’t see out another visit.
