Stopped by while we were in NYC this past weekend. Food was amazing, very generous portions (see pic). I ordered the Sausage Plate which was very good. Looking forward to stopping by again next time I'm in the City!

Absolutely loved this place. The European menu is simple in the best way, with dishes that feel comforting and homemade. The vibe is warm and home-like, perfect after a day of shopping in Soho or even just a quick stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The staff is incredibly friendly, the bread is amazingly fresh, and you can really taste the heart that goes into everything. Definitely worth checking out.

Amazing breakfast food and a cozy vibe, but very poor service. I think the hostess should put more care into how they’re seating people - I asked for a bar seat and waited for ~25 minutes. 20 minutes into waiting, someone the hostess was familiar with came by and he said he was waiting for their friend to come join and she offered him a bar seat to eat at until then. She saw that I heard the conversation and came over after a few minutes and apologized for the wait a few times, so she knew it wasn’t fair either. I really enjoyed the food so I want to come again but there’s lots of great restaurants in the area that have a fair approach to seating people.

PREPARE TO FREEZE. Very rude staff and owner who lack basic etiquette.
The food was okay but the staff were very rude. I came by myself in the morning, it was cold by my table since it faced the door, the restaurant was pretty EMPTY but the waiter still refused to seat me at a 4-seat table away from the door, even though he could easily separate the tables to make them 2-seaters. They did that to every party who also complained that it was cold, despite all the 4-seat tables (the ones away from the door) were empty. Not a single 4-person party came while I was there.
I spent some time there reading on my laptop when another waiter TOLD ME VERY RUDELY TO PAY THE BILL AND THAT THEY NEEDED THE TABLE NOW, despite having other empty tables. I was about to leave anyway because I could see the restaurant was starting to fill up. They could have told me in a much nicer way if they wanted to know whether I planned to order something else or that they would need the table soon.
I almost never complain or write bad reviews, but I was appalled by their rudeness, so I mentioned it to the owner. She was even more rude, which made complete sense — the waiters are a reflection of the owner. She didn’t care to listen, interrupted me to say that her staff were very nice, that it’s not my “thing” (business) when I complained about the seating, and that this is not a workspace. EMBARRASSING LEVEL OF RUDENESS. I was reading a book on my laptop and had asked before sitting down if I could use my laptop, to which they said yes. Oh, and the waiter lied and said there was no Wi-Fi.

Good brunch menu, the service was very good. Food was amazing. The price is reasonable. Love the atmosphere. Serving portion was big. Everything is wonderful. Where from Chicago and the for the price is shockingly not expensive for Newyork. 10/10

Our new favorite restaurant!
We are SO happy we found this fabulous restaurant. Everything served here tastes like it is sourced from the finest ingredients making each dish stand out. Think fresh farmer markets and fine French cheeses. The ingredients are the star, to me, as uniquely bright and fresh.
From the cheeses, salads, eggs, hamburgers and brioche French toast… I could go on and on.
Crispy Haven is located next door to My Wife Frieda & hands down I’d choose Crispy Haven!
The prices are fair, the dishes are prepared with great care and the quality of the food is EXCELLENT! We’ve eaten here for breakfast and dinner. Each meal has been delicious and memorable.
Additionally, we’ve ordered delivery (as well) and it too did not disappoint.
Overall, a must go restaurant. It’s a total gem!!!
