We were early guests, seated at 5pm, just felt like something was off. The menu wasn’t the most interesting with limited options. The tortellini filled with Parmesan cheese was really delicious. Nice interiors design.

Food was horrible. I love Italian food and I was not impressed at all by any of the pastas. The bread was ok but only thing that was good

Walked in on a friday evening with no wait, but would recommend booking in advance just in case. First of all, loved the focaccia. The chicken was really good too and the black truffle pasta was tasty. The drinks were also standard, no complaints there. Portions were small though, so I didn’t come out feeling full.

We have been here several times since the opening in 2022 - we are West Chelsea locals. Upon opening, the restaurant was strong - food, attention to detail in service - it was a bit pricy but worth the total experience. Over time, this has become an absolute disgrace. The staff is generally extremely rude (hostesses and waiters) and the food has become a mockery to Italian food in general. The famous focaccia bread - which Chef Leonti once revered as their strong suits (bread in general) - is consistently overdone / borderline burned (3 visits in a row now). The bread recipe changed since opening (according to one of the waitresses) - and has worsened. In addition, other experiments like the eggplant parm including chocolate / cacao is deplorable. We have returned many times over - in part due to neighborhood convenience, and in part in hopes this would improve. Certainly has worsened. In addition to food quality dwindling, the staff have seemingly gotten ruder and more arrogant - it is as if we, the customer, are a burden to the staff. It is incredible that service people can show such arrogance. Lastly, why have the portion sizes decreased by ~1/3 since opening, and the prices have increased ~30%? How is it that Cucina Alba is more expensive than places like I Sodi, yet is 3/10 the quality of I Sodi? We are not price sensitive customers - I can assure you - but this is a borderline scam at this point.

The lasagna was too oily and the sauce was non existent. The price was >60 dls. Not worth it

The food was okay, but the service was terrible. They should improve this. There are nicer restaurants around the city.
5 stars for Oliver. There is simply no one better. He should be running the restaurant. He could unite our country. If you’re going to Cucina Alba, ask for #

We had a fine meal here but the food is not particularly refined while the prices are. The pork chop is quite good, but the rest of our dishes were just fine. The orecchiette- at $70- is offensively priced for what is basically pasta, tomatoes and a small ball of burrata. It was good but no pasta can be worth that price and this one wasn’t an exception.

Excellent experience! The food was exquisite. Highly recommend the Lobster Spaguetti. The wine list is amazing with multiple Tignanello’s to chose from. Glassware was good and the overall set up of the table was well thought out. The service timely and friendly. 10 out of 10.

Absolutely LOVE this place!!! I feel spoiled for choice when it comes to great Italian meals in NYC, and Cucina Alba has quickly become my new favorite. Great atmosphere inside and both times I’ve gone the service has been on point. Bar setup is great for coming in casually and all the food I’ve tried so far has been delicious. My personal favorites so far are the agnolotti and chicken leonti, and you absolutely have to try the focaccia with whipped ricotta. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again with friends!
