Clean, well lighted place to drink coffee, read for a bit and meet a friend. Donut was delicious as well. Nice spot + you can people watch out front window onto 2nd. You'll come for the coffee and return for the ?!PS. NYC WiFi spot right out front but please don't ruin this wonderful cafe by camping out with your laptop.

I used to love this place and would stop by everyday before going to work. Today I bought one of their spinach and feta pies, I took a bite and all of the crust was hard to the point I couldnt chew it. I went back to ask for a fresher one and who I guess to be the manager not only said I couldn’t get it changed but grabbed the pie and squeezed it with her hands and said it was soft in the middle. I left embarrassed to be honest and got to work and tried to eat it and it is so obvious that this pie has been sitting there for a while. I can understand that some things might not be freshly made but what upsets me the most is the attitude from this woman. Not my first time having a bad experience with her.Never coming back.

Place serves good drinks, great food, has good vibes and is always clean, service is fine as well, only complaint is the prices, 1 dollar for a pinch of cinnamon on top of my iced chai, lol, my large iced chai came out to 10 dollars because of almond milk and cinnamon and when I got it it was 85% ice cubes, only got about 4 sips from it before it was gone. Again I like this place and the owner is a nice guy but don't scam the customers like you're a nightclub serving drinks that are practically all ice
5 stars for the creme filled croissants! I can't speak for the coffee or anything else as I came in specifically for the crema croissants which I'd been eyeing for many months. This is not a cheap pastry ($6.26) but it is huge and they do not skimp on the vanilla custard! I'd like to come back another day when they first open to try them fresh? With a cup of soul.

I love CupSoul. This is my Sunday morning stop in between my street outreach with the homeless. I start my day at 4:30 or 5:30, and then take a 15 minute break at 9:45 on that day to grab a cortada and a cappuccino. Sometimes I'll grab a pastry (awesome and delish). I often have my volunteers meet me there because it's such a nice way to kick off that part of my day. The staff is awesome. Friendly. And they absolutely love their clientele, from the babies to the dogs to the humans. It's just an all round great place to start a day or stop off in the middle of it to regroup.

Efficient service, inviting ambience and lovely menu. Everything about this place was almost perfect. Lovvvvved the tomato olive spiral (forget what it was called on the menu, but was part of the vegan option) it was absolutely ? and the red velvet muffin was perfect. The cronut, not so much. The coffees were good too and the prices are just right. There is just the right amount of seating for a cafe and the overall vibe is welcoming. We are certainly gona be coming back again.
