I’m usually a black coffee, cold brew, light-medium roast, fruity coffee lover in general from Portland, OR. I don’t typically go for lattes bc they’re often too sweet, lack coffee taste, and I’m lactose-intolerant and don’t want to pay more money for alt milk. But Current Coffee doesn’t charge extra for alt milk! My husband and I tried the blueberry maple, beach vibes, and pistachio caramel(?) (not the pistachio date) iced lattes over the past two days. My favorite is the blueberry maple, and they’re all not too sweet and so delicious! I wish I caught the name of the very friendly and helpful barista. One of the highlights of my visit to New York. Plus that octopus tentacle sconce was amazing and I love it.
The folks here are extremely kind ,and they have great options that are not typical. If you’re ever at Bellevue Hospital and are looking for a great place with great music to have a nice break, make sure you stop at current coffee!
