for a dog friendly, dive bar-esque environment, the drink menu was so pretentious. how do you look like a dive bar and say stuff like “no pbr no miller lite no guiness” i forgot to take the picture but theres a chalkboard that says no to like 10 classic beers that everyone enjoys. so pompous for what? youre a dive bar LMAO this isnt a 5 star hotel bar in Monaco.

d.b.a. is a fun bar with a lot to offer. An outdoor backyard patio space, different video games on their bar screens (e.g., played mario kart on Switch), shot skis, and a number of good craft beers (including locals like Torch & Crown on tap). Fun spot for a drink with friends.

Fantastic bar. Great, constantly changing beer selection with a lot of great local brews and imports, with a ton of variety. Some of the coolest bartenders you'll meet. And by far the best pickle juice I have ever had in my life, nothing else has come close. If you like picklebacks, or are curious to try one, I guarantee you cannot do better than this place.

Dog friendly bar!! Great selection of drinks. They closed the back patio at 10pm but still plenty of room on a Friday night

overpriced drinks and the bartender call us out for
tipping 18% as if we weren’t tipping enough
on 3 seltzers and 3 shots

The chubby moustache grown up man in the bar was rude the whole time, and he got even angrier when I paid in cash for a beer that was literally 10$, he was mad and doing faces the whole time we spent there. Maybe because we were spanish and gave the man no tip? You didnt deserve it, learn to be polite first.

Legendary bar near the “nexus” of the universe ! So many awesome beer selections on draft and friendly bartenders to help you find your perfect pint! They have a great space with a back patio and are dog friendly. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so!

Expansive beer menu, popcorn, covered outdoor patio, allows dogs, communal board games, Mario kart, cool bartenders. I really don’t know what else you could want! It’s up there for best bar in Manhattan for me.

My favorite bar in the city. Tons of great well priced beer options. Bartenders are phenomenal. Pet friendly and has a back patio.

I only had drinks. Drink selection is great. I like that they had everything organized by types. The place is spacious and clean.

Once an oasis of hand drawn beer and fine whiskey this downtrodden bar exhibits hardly a glimmer of its past glory. Beer pong, free dollar pizza night, gay trivia night, and the absence of a worthy happy hour does little to enhance an authentic dive bar ambience. Doing Business As a bear, dog & dyke welcoming establishment - and football on the telly - is the saving grace.

Great beer and staff.

We popped in for a couple and stayed until the early hours having a good craic with some of the locals.
