Just went inside, sat at the bar and asked for a beer similar to Amstel (since I didn't really saw the various drafts they had on the other side of the bar and the bartender says: Go check yourself !!
I didn't move, he comes back and he says that's not his fault that I'm sitting on the other side of the bar (instead of just saying a damn beer brand since they didn't had Amstel). I asked him to show me a menu since he's so bored of just talking with me and he didn't accept even to serve.
Man just so damn stupid. Very unpleasent moment!!
my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The atmosphere was unwelcoming, and the customer service was terrible — the staff seemed inattentive and even rude at times. The prices were unreasonably high for the quality offered, and to make matters worse, they automatically added a 30% tip to the bill. Honestly, the service didn’t deserve any tip at all. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to others.
REALLY GOOD!
Great fish and chips and Reuben! The fish is scrod (cod) and a little pricey but a large portion. Great music selection as well!
Quick and delicious
Our favorite midtown pub. They really give you a decent pour. Justin behind the bar is warm and friendly. It's also a very good diner restaurant. Has been a neighborhood institution forever. Denis Reynolds the proprietor has done a fantastic job. You will not regret going there for drinks or dinner.
Incredibly expensive, a Corona for $10!!!
Quaint joint, not touristy, good for a drink and munchies.

On 10-21-24 around 10:00 pm i stumbled into this bar with my trans friend to order food. I wanted to treat her for her birthday. The irish bartender was very nice to me. He then asked us to sit at the table by the window. However, as the server approached us he made a smart remark refering to my trans friend. And his facial expression an attitude towards us made us sad. He then went to the other side of the bar an started giggling to the bartender. As if he never seen a trans person before. It made us uncomfortable. So we just left without even drinking the water given to us. Im not sure if this place is LGBTQIA friendly. At least that server was not.

Old guy on the door was nothing but friendly, but downright hostility from the guy on the bar (bald, c. mid-40s) made for a strange and unpleasant experience.
God knows what's got into the guy.
I ordered the bourbon that's my go-to drink but he poured me some horrible grog.
Figured given the obvious hostility to just let it go and just leave this review.
Hope the guy gets over whatever it is that's got into him.

Food was pretty good but the service was extremely slow. Had to track down the waiter a few times to get a refill, pay the check, etc.
