Perfect place to eat in Little Italy. The food is amazing and the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. Exactly the experience I was looking for taking my daughter to Mulberry St for the first time. The Pappardelle Bolognese and Bruschetta were the best I’ve ever had!

The food at this restaurant is wonderful very creative. pasta Seems to be fresh and the dishes are very tasty. The hostess is wonderful!!, knows exactly what to say to get people to stop for a bite and she was extremely friendly. The service on the other hand is TERRIBLE. The Bussers seem to be much more attentive to the tables than the servers themselves. We saw our server twice, once when he took our order, Once when he came to take payment, never even came back to check up on us to see if we needed anything. We will definitely not be coming back nor will We be recommending this place with all other restaurants in Manhattan.
Good food, prices are a bit high, but that's normal for that area of NY. Friendly hostess on the door.

Read a lot of blogs that said don't eat in little Italy, but we still wanted to anyways. Whoever said that had never been to Da Gennaro. Was it the best Italian food I've ever had in my entire life? No. But it was still yummy and satisfying. Sat down right away, service was quick, and the tables outside have a fun vibe. Would recommend.

No wait on a busy Saturday night. The hostess was inviting without being pushy. Food was good and fast, what you might expect of food at an Italian wedding or other type event where you have feed a lot of people of different tastes.

Overall rating of 4.2 seems accurate. Service was quick and friendly. Pasta was good, but the Bolognese was bland. The only thing keeping them from a 5 are some herbs and spices.

If I could give more stars this is the place to give it to!!!! Amazing food, best mushroom ravioli ever! Peter was an amazing server, checked on us often, had great suggestions, and just overall a friendly guy to talk with. Will be coming back ?!!!!
