Food was outstanding. Beef carpaccio appetizer was delicious. Linguini with Clams and ravioli with mushrooms and asparagus were fantastic. Old world atmosphere and live piano music was amazing
Had dinner here many times Service was a little slow but ok No Italian beer available Food was good
We had a great pre theatre dinner. Food was fantastic from the tomato salad appetizer to the pasta and chicken dinners. The wait staff was excellent. The piano player/singer had a beautiful voice and made the experience much better. We will be back!
Our 6 PM reservation meant nothing because we were seated 35 minutes late and staff provided little to no updates. This is a theater district restaurant, so it matters. I never mind waiting at the bar, but this place is so tight on space (even more than the average NYC restaurant), it was uncomfortable. The bartender never greeted us much less ask if we wanted a drink. The food was average and by the time we were served, we had 25 minutes to eat before we had to leave for our show. Would not recommend.
DaMarino has always been my go- to restaurant when visiting Broadway for nearly 20 years. The food and service is always excellent. The atmosphere is so adorable and inviting. I always recommend it to friends visiting NYC. Its convenient to all theaters and definitely a great place to dine!
Our waiter must have quit in the middle of our meal. Bartender was great and the girl who took over our service picked up what she could but we had to ask another server to check on our meal an hour into our visit.
Great food great service very nice and calm environment. We really enjoyed the live music.
We had a fabulous meal at DaMarino! The food was amazing and the service supreme. They got us out in plenty of time to make our show...without making us feel rushed. Looking forward to visiting again next time we are in NYC.
The restaurant is located in the basement of a building, which is common for many restaurants in NYC. We arrived early for our reservation, and were seated immediately. We had ordered the house red wine, a caesar salad, and we had rigatoni with meatballs as well as penne and vodka sauce. The wine was pretty warm, warmer than room temperature which was a little surprising. The salad was very good. However, our main entrees were a little less than expected. We go to NYC a couple times each year and always choose different restaurants each time as there are a lot to choose from. I will say that this was the worst out of the restaurants we have eaten. The food was edible, but not the Italian food we have come accustomed to in NYC. The entrees we had there were better tasting in the rural area of Pennsylvania which we live. Sorry, but disappointed with our restaurant choice this time and I would not go back.
I took my wife here for her 50th birthday dinner after a show at the EO theater two doors away. This is a cool little restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff was super awesome. My wife got the filet and it melted in your mouth! Arrive early for your reservation as the place is small and the list can get pushed back. Also, because the place is small, it can be a bit loud, but i found it to be a great experience overall!

Really good live music with Marcy. The food is delicious and the stuff pretty kind.
Great food, attentive servers and loved Marci on the piano. The interior needs updating; looks tired and in need of a makeover starting with lighting and the chairs which are old and in rough shape.
Best place to go for live music and great Italian food as well as delicious cocktails!

Good was great, lasagna was a large serving, we had ravioli as well and gnocchi with chicken. We sat at the bar due to not making a reservation, however it was a pleasant experience. If you don’t want to experience the sounds and smells of the outside, don’t sit at the bar. Our service was good, the bartender was as attentive although he was busy. I would come back next time I visit the city and the piano player was lovely as well.

Good food, service to be desired and improved. I hoped for little more from all the rave reviews I ready online. It's charming place for sure
