If you want good Italian food come here. The sauce on the chicken parm is unreal. Best meatballs I have ever had in my life this is coming from an Italian. Affordable pricing as well. Cannot reccomend enough!!

Food, service and ambience was outstanding! If you crave Thai food run to this place. Make sure you have a reservation. This is the best restaurant I have eaten in ages! I wish they were in Tampa, Fl

Excellent food. FYI still water is $9/bottle. That was a not so nice surprise but other than that it was excellent!

The rain was coming down hard — the kind that turns the streets into mirrors. We ducked into Da Nico and felt it right away. Warm air, soft light, the smell of garlic and bread. Comfort in motion.

Inside, it felt like family. Tables close, conversation steady, flowers and vines hanging low from the ceiling. On one wall, a painting of Tony and Pie-O-My. It made me smile to see it hanging there so proudly.

We ordered the truffle pizza, eggplant parmesan, grilled sausage and potato, and the egg and mozzarella hero. Every dish came out hot, bold, and generous. The kind of food made by people who season with instinct, not measurement. You taste the care — deep sauces, honest heat, and a crust watched closely in the oven.

The staff moved with pace and warmth. No performance, no pretense. Just people who take pride in feeding you well.

It felt like walking into someone’s home after a long trip — fed well, spoken to kindly, and sent back into the rain a little lighter than when you came in.

Da Nico isn’t trying to impress the modern diner. It’s keeping something alive — that spirit of food made by people who love what they do.

Another great meal here! The servers are wonderful and cater to your every need. The food is always fresh and plentiful portions. Caesar salad was excellent as was the pasta and the house specials. The only complaint is that the chicken Parmesan was a little overcooked and dry, nice touch serving complementary dessert. Third time here and definitely will be back.

Da Nico is a truly exceptional Italian restaurant in Little Italy, Manhattan! We love it here. They have the main floor and an upstairs as well.

My favorite Italian restaurant in NY. The ceaser salad is perfectly tangy. The meatballs are big and flavorful. My mom loves the eggplant, whatever way she orders it. Although my favorite thing, and reason we come here, the gnocchi. I get it with vodka sauce. The gnocchi are like fluffy pillows in your mouth. The vodka sauce is perfectly creamy and just delicious. My boys are partial to the wood fired pizza and fresh bread. Hands down best spot in Little Italy!
