The food was so good. We had pizza and the sauce was amazing. Highly recommend coming to this restaurant!
I very much enjoyed the food and ambience, and the service was fine. My only complaint was the noise. It was crowded at lunchtime and we ate inside. It might be less noisy outside.
Beautiful restaurant. The homemade lasagna was OK. My daughter‘s rigatoni were OK way way al dente but OK. My wife's fresh Cacho de Pepe was pretty much the worst pasta we've ever had and my son-in-law‘s ravioli were OK. The calamari was subpar on the rubbery side and our initial mozzarella Carazo was terrible until they brought another one that appeared to be hot and have fresh mozzarella thankfully. Service was fine atmosphere was beautiful but I will never go back to that particular restaurant again. Just being honest.
Fun place in the heart of Little Italy but food was just ok. Setting was so much more memorable than the food.
Very, very, very delicious food! Good italian music, very cozy and friendly service! Come for sure when you are in Little Italy!

This is my favorite restaurant in the world. I've traveled for work for a decade and been blessed to be all over. The seafood fra diavoli at this place and honestly everything I've ever eaten has been world class every time. I will NEVER come to NYC and not have a meal here.

A perfect birthday dinner in Little Italy ✨🎂
I didn’t know what to expect when I booked my birthday dinner at Da Nico Ristorante, but it turned out to be the perfect choice. I reserved online about 2-3 days ahead, and the hostess actually called the morning of to confirm my party size. When I had to call her back later in the day, she warmly remembered and assured me we’d be taken care of—and she wasn’t lying!
Not only did I arrive late, but I broke a shoe before getting there. Even so, the staff was kind and accommodating the entire night. They seated us in the cutest, most private outdoor area in the back. The food arrived quickly, and every dish was exceptional—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
Between 8 guests, we ordered penne alla vodka, lasagna, clam pasta, balsamic chicken, ravioli, a few pizzas and more. We drank wine, cocktails, sodas and water. Everything was fantastic.
Because it was a Wednesday night, the restaurant wasn’t overcrowded; the service was excellent—attentive but never pushy.
I had no issue navigating to the bathroom, though there is a long flight of stairs, so keep that in mind if you need accessibility accommodations.
Here’s the sweetest part: the staff brought surprise funnel cake for the table, sang happy birthday to me, lit a candle and gifted me a slice of their house-made cheesecake—which was incredible. And then… they didn’t charge us for any of the desserts or drinks. Truly above and beyond.
All eight of us had an amazing time. No complaints—just gratitude for a lovely, memorable night. Excited to go back soon.
Highly recommend Da Nico for any special occasion or just an excellent dinner in Little Italy.

My wife and I always make time to stop here whenever we’re in the city. The food is insanely good, and while there are a lot of great Italian restaurants in the area, we’ve always found Da Nico to be the best. The linguine with clams and the chicken parm are always my go-to’s. I’ve gone with friends/family/and just my wife and I, and each visit would have everyone leaving satisfied. The tastes and simplicity always remind me of dining in Italy!
