Traditional Italian dinner. Portions were large. Food was well cooked. Everything you would expect from a neighborhood Italian restaurant. Billy Joel could have written his song here.

Da Tomasso has always been our family's go to Italian staple when visiting NYC.....for the past 15 plus years Paul and his team has served fantastic Italian food. They never let us down.

We made reservations for dinner before heading out to Days of Wine and Roses around the corner from the restaurant. This is a small, quaint, and very New York restaurant that was very convenient. Everything was excellent from our arrival to our friendly and efficient server, the menu was transitional Italian and very reasonably priced, the food was nicely prepared, hot and portions were ample. The meal progressed quickly so we also had time for coffee and dessert. The food is excellent quality and we enjoyed our experience very much. We can highly recommend!

First time. Fabulous dinner. Chosen because of the great reviews and proximity to Studio 54 theatre. Split a tri colore salad and the broccoli and zuchini pasta. Lovely white wine. Cannot remember our server's name, but she was great also. We loved the old fashioned small restaurant and handwritten check. Very NYC!!

Picked this place as it was close to the theater where we went to see Days of Wine & Roses. Sooo close as in right across the street. It did not disappoint. Unassuming from the outside one would never imagine that such delicious food would be waiting inside. We had veal marsala dripping in a luxurious wine and mushroom sauce, chicken Romano again with a delicious sauce and a very juicy chicken pillars. All the dishes were served with roasted potatoes and sautéed green beans cooked to perfection. The dishes are large so we had no room for dessert. I highly recommend this place.

Neighborhood gem...my sister had the stuffed pork chop special and I had the lasagna which featured homemade pasta. Salads were fresh and tasty. Service very good. We went there before we went to the theater...easy walk down 8th Ave.

Excellent meal and excellent service. This is a neighborhood gem that was chosen because it is close to the Studio 54 Theater. I had the veal marsala which was superb. The server did a great job and our meals were served in a timely manor which allowed us to get to our show on time.

The waiter lacked personality and ignored our table throughout the meal. I had to flag down other wait staff to assist us. Food was mediocre, at best. Antipasto was small and lackluster. Atmosphere was somewhat bland. Hard to believe the rating was so high on Open Table.

Nice little Italian restaurant. We came across it when we walked by it since we were staying nearby. It was Monday night, so not too busy. Service was personalized and good. Quaint restaurant. Good food, reasonable portions. Will visit again on a future trip.
