The workers at this restaurant, along with others owned by Chef Abishek (Swagat, Badshah to go, Madam ji, Rang) are striking for stolen wages, overtime and tips. Do not support any establishment by this chef until the workers are paid!
My homie and I went to lunch here today for the first time and man it was such an amazing experience. The place is on the smaller side but very clean. I had the Butter Chicken lunch special which came with Naan. Everything was just amazing. The flavors were on point and the Naan was the perfect vehicle for all the tasty sauce. The staff was very nice and kind. Lunch cost about $30 for two people with cans of soda so not bad at all for the area. Will def be back! This food hugs your stomach and soul ?.
Really delicious and fresh food. Hard to find options like this downtown around the financial district. Great option for lunch.
We found this place when we walked around the financial district searching for some lunch during our stay in New York beginning of Jan. The food was delicious, quite tasty and the service also friendly. We ate in the restaurant as it was raining outside and and all three of us enjoyed having a lovely taste of India while being in the city.
First visit, which I got take out and ate at work. The food was hot, flavorful and seasoned well. I wish they had a little spicy green chutney to go. Will enjoy going back and trying more things.
Beware. This place isn't worthy of its name. Also their yelp reviews are more accurate.I went there to pick up lunch and ordered two entrees. And apparently if you don't ask for the "lunch special" which is plastered in huge letters behind the register, they charge you full price. When they did this to me, I asked the lady at the front to change it. She was charging me $19+tax and I wanted the lunch special price that was $12.95+tax. She then called me behind the counter thinking that I didn't know math to tell me that once you add that tax it's all the same. $12.95 +tax is about $15 and change. My mom is a math teacher - bad idea. Since she had already charged me, she offered to throw in an extra naan to make up the difference. And she kept offering me a mango juice which i didn't want. I get home and find out, she didn't keep her word on the extra naan. I didn't get anything for the extra a paid. This place is a dump. They have bathroom tile all over the walls and the place was empty. The decor sucks, the service is horrible and the food was mediocre at best. I specifically searched out this place to support small businesses in the area and they just ripped me off.Go anywhere but here. No wonder it was empty during the lunch rush.
Top notch! Authentic taste, money's worth, great location, nice interiors and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Cute little restaurant. Food is delicious. Especially the express thali we had was yummy. Definitely will order again.
Just had take out order from there (chicken bryani, samosa chaat & lunch special chicken tikka masala). It was super good. It's my new favorite spot to eat Indian food.I'm not sure about how the dine-in service is. But the food is fantastic. 100% recommended. ????

New favorite restaurant for delicious Indian food. Service is amazing, very respectful, food tastes quality and homemade and the restaurant itself is super clean! Can’t go wrong with butter chicken, bharta bahar (tandoori eggplant and ginger dish) plus fresh naan. The spinach and homemade cheese naan was amazing too.
Good food and good takeout portions, not sure why the rating on seamless is so low. Also, I eat pretty spicy food but the lamb vindaloo was easily top 5 spiciest things I’ve ever eaten. Writing this review from the bathroom.
I had such a great experience dining in Dabangg! Great food. Cozy atmosphere. Pleasant waiters. Authentic Indian music! Highly recommend, 10/10! I
Really good food! Working nearby, I'll probably go there once a week. The butter chicken is tasty, the portions are good, and the lunch special comes with a delicious naan, some vegies, lentils and desert!
Very clean and food was great. I’m no expert of Indian cuisine but everything tasted good. Naan was a modern twist with jalapeño cheese in it.Place was empty and the wait was pretty long then it got filled by a large party of 16.Many Gluten Free options. Will be back!
