I regret to say that my experience at Daily Provisions on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024, was marred by unprofessional behavior from a male staff member. As I was leaving a tip of $1.00, I noticed this individual (who took my order), wearing a grey beanie and wooden optical glasses, openly ridiculing my choice and discussing it with other staff members.It was incredibly disappointing to be subjected to such disrespectful treatment simply for leaving what I could afford as a tip. I found it particularly ironic that this staff member felt entitled to mock me for not being wealthy enough to leave a larger gratuity, despite the fact that I was doing the best I could within my means.The behavior of this male staff member was completely unacceptable and tarnished what could have otherwise been a pleasant dining experience. It is deeply concerning that someone representing the establishment would display such contemptuous behavior towards a customer. I sincerely hope that management addresses this issue promptly to ensure that other patrons are not subjected to similar treatment in the future.In conclusion, I would caution others considering dining at Daily Provisions to be wary of the disrespectful attitude displayed by certain members of their staff.

This place has one of the best tuna melts I’ve eaten in a while. This diner staple feels elevated and is extremely delicious. The bread is crisp, and I think the secret ingredient is star anise? Anyways, great food, vibe and service. Cortado was lovely.

Yes their coffee is delicious. Yes their breakfast sandwiches are memorable & melty. Yes their crullers crush it. But I'm here for their sandwiches. It's a hidden gem on the menu. Their tomato soup and grilled cheese is just what's needed on a cold winter day. And their tuna melt (with avocado added) can't be beat. I believe their secret is the delicious bread. No deli has such high quality. Or perhaps it's the North Fork chips.

Stopped by Daily Provisions to try the cruller of the month! It was a passionfruit coconut flavor that was absolutely delicious! You can taste the passionfruit flavor which means they used real passionfruit and the coconut is a good add for texture. I'm heading back again today because I really enjoyed it. The Cruller is around $6 or so. It's not large but the flavor delivers if you like a donut/pastry. Service moved quickly and they have inside seating if you want to enjoy other items on their menu (including beverages and food).
