Dan and John's Wings Murray Hill

I was heavily disappointed in this place. We chose it for a chill Friday night dinner and it just wasn’t that good. Despite it being Valentine’s Day, they weren’t that busy yet we sat ourselves and had to wait several mins and another customer who came in after us was tended to first. Then when we got our food, the boneless wings were way too salty (we got hot and lemon pepper) and the fried pickles as well were too salty. They get two stars because the traditional wings were good and so were the onion rings. I don’t expect to be back here, but if you really want to come I would avoid the boneless and be careful with the sauces.

A large selection of wings and sauces. The service we received lacked any enthusiasm and the preparation of the meal was equally uninspiring. The wings were soft, pretty good taste but with soggy skin. I prefer the wings to have some crispness so partly a preference but even so it was mediocre at best.

Best true buffalo style wings in New York City. Closest to the truly original Anchor Bar wings in Buffalo. Tater tots were pretty good too.

Flew in from Chicago and tried this wing spot. This place is sooooooo fire!! The sauces are out of this world. Very saucy very fresh very on point!!!!!!!

Used to like this place but on my last visit the chicken was very disappointing. Boneless wings were extremely dry almost to the point of being inedible. I will not be returning.

Ordered for the first time through their website for pick up. They didn’t out any of the sauce or seasoning on the order

I saw other reviews here and decided to try it out and I'm happy I did! The wings were large, well sauced and cooked well. I also had the tater tots which were also perfectly done. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Some of the best wings I’ve had in Midtown. Super fast service, great flavor in the sauce and the wings are so dang crispy without the inside dryness. Definitely recommend coming here for the wings.

I went to both locations in the city, on two separate occasions. The wings were good and fresh. I had plain wings with the sauce on the side just to see how good the wings were on its on. A+ definitely going back. Hard to find really good wings without drowning it in sauce.Onion rings and mozzarella sticks were great, definitely recommend. The mac n cheese bites I can do without.

Good but not great wing place, hits all the basic marks of crispy chicken, fresh, and passable sauces. Unfortunately, that doesn't culminate in an amazing experience. I suggest making more inventive sauces and lowering the price point.
