This is what we call “fine dining.”
We did not reserve the main dining room, as one of our party did not care for prix fixe. We opted for the lounge as you can have from the menu or prix fixe.
When you first arrive, you are greeted by a pleasant hat/coat check lady.
We arrived early and said we would wait for the other couple and were invited to wait in the intimate cocktail area. The cocktails were superb and served with a house-made cocktail snack.
When the guests of the party arrived, we were escorted to the lounge area. An intimate area with about six to eight tables.
After being seated and greeted by the head server (maître d' or captain), who explained our options, we all opted for the menu.
After looking at all the choices, we decided to split two appetizers. Even though the number of items on each choice was uneven, the server said, “Let me take care of it". And then beautifully presented plates arrived with equal portions.
And it only got better from there.
The entrées were each explained in detail, including their origins and how they were prepared.
I could go on and on. The fish, beef, duck breast, and pork were everything we expected and more. We all commented, maybe the best we have had.
The house made desserts were perfect. I had possibly the best cheese plate I have ever had.
The entire staff of servers were professionals and enhanced the evening.
The most disappointing part of the evening was when a guest entering the dining room (after removing his overcoat) came in dressed in Dockers and a short-sleeve polo. This is an insult to the owner, the chef, and the entire staff at this fine restaurant. But maybe he was an elite or a “special” person.
We all said we would be back.

Exquisite experience! This is our go-to restaurant for special occasions. We recently celebrated our anniversary here. The attention to detail is phenomenal. We were greeted with best wishes and seated in a private alcove facing the interior of the restaurant. Our server was professional and personable. We chose the three course menu, which offered a variety of delectable selections. Our meals (duck & venison)were expertly prepared, expertly served, and artfully arranged. Succulent! After dessert, our server offered a visit behind the scenes into the kitchen. Overall, thoroughly enjoyable experience!

After 65 years in the United States my 91 year old mother is going to move back to her home country as she no longer has any living friends in the United States.
As a family we've been trying to give her beautiful memories for her send off, so I asked Daniel to host her and a friend's younger sister for a fancy dinner.
My already high expectations were exceeded. My mother had the time of her life. Flowers were beautiful. Staff came to wish her well on her next chapter, the menu was excellent, and her limited wine consumption handled well. Thanks all around to the staff, executive chef, sommelier and of course the always reliable Karim Guedouar, Regional General Manager.
Overall: mission accomplished.

Pleasantly surprised how nice this restaurant was - excellent value for the quality of food and service . You’ll get invited at the end of the meal to the kitchen to see where all the magic happens. Staff are hard working and take providing an excellent culinary experience seriously. Will be coming again when I’m next in New York!
We reserved Daniel for our Anniversary- it was a spectacular experience from beginning to end. I have dietary restrictions, and the chef was more than accommodating of them. Our Captain was Zach, followed by Serenity. I couldn’t give them a better review. Everyone we encountered was amazing. We highly recommend!

was fully reserved for the dining room but we still wanna try it out, so we were at the lounge. vibes were okay, moderate noise, service was great, food was kind of too ordinary, can’t remember any dish, beautifully presented but the flavor needs some improvements. in terms of the food, café boulud and maison barnes do better imo. overall still good to try out.

We booked to come here for our last night in NYC and we were not disappointed. We chose to have the tasting menu and every single course delivered. The “dish of the evening” for both of us was the seafood fricassee which was absolutely superb. The service was excellent and all the staff were lovely. We have dined in many Michelin restaurants and this was definitely up near the top of the list for us. Thank you for a lovely evening.
