This is what we call “fine dining.”
We did not reserve the main dining room, as one of our party did not care for prix fixe. We opted for the lounge as you can have from the menu or prix fixe.
When you first arrive, you are greeted by a pleasant hat/coat check lady.
We arrived early and said we would wait for the other couple and were invited to wait in the intimate cocktail area. The cocktails were superb and served with a house-made cocktail snack.

Exquisite experience! This is our go-to restaurant for special occasions. We recently celebrated our anniversary here. The attention to detail is phenomenal. We were greeted with best wishes and seated in a private alcove facing the interior of the restaurant. Our server was professional and personable. We chose the three course menu, which offered a variety of delectable selections. Our meals (duck & venison)were expertly prepared, expertly served, and artfully arranged....
A restaurant with this history and rating comes with a high bar of expectations. Daniel easily cleared the bar with innovative and surprising dishes with great flavors and textures. Service was spot-on. We had dined at another renowned midtown French restaurant the night before and Daniel was the clearly better meal
