The place is nice, it smells like smoked food indoors which I don’t enjoy a lot but if you’re ok with that scent, the place is warm. A little snob, but maybe that’s the vibe they want to share around. We had reservation but it was delayed, and we couldn’t have a drink while we’re waiting. The food was tasty, but not crazy to wait for delays. However, the place is cute if you don’t mind those details. Some people of the staff, great, others a little snobby and not friendly. Extremely loud place too, if you like to have a conversation, it’s not the kind of place I would recommend. You should try it at least once to find out tho, maybe it’s fine for you. I like lively places but not the ones with such much noise that you can’t hear the person next to you.
Dante West Village is a great spot for a delicious and social dining experience. Their menu focuses on small plates, perfect for sharing and trying a variety of flavors. I recently enjoyed the ribs, arancini, and burrata, and all were fantastic. The tiramisu was the perfect ending to the meal. The restaurant also boasts a world-class martini list, so be sure to check that out as well.

Heard much nice about Dante West Village, and indeed it was a very nice and cozy place. The drinks and food was top. Simple but tasteful. That was a big surprise. I strongly recommend a visit here for breakfast, lunch and brunch if you are in NYC.

Wow-dropped in for a drink last Thursday and had the best cocktails we’ve had in NYC. If you’re lucky enough to have Renato as your bartender, make sure you watch the care he takes when making your drink. We had a Bloody Mary, Fluffy margarita and a Garibaldi. We made a dinner reservation for two nights later just because of the service we received at the bar for. Drinks. We were not disappointed when we brought our kids back two nights later. We had sever appetizers (calamari and arancinis to die for) then grilled skirt steak and sea bass special for mains. Jason our server was fantastic and lucky us that Renato was working again and he had new creations for us from the bar. We’ll be heading to the West Village to Dante’s for dinner every time we’re in town.What a gem…

We are tourists from Norway visiting the finest places in New York City for food and drinks.I was here having drinks one night, where i had Yann giving me the best service and drinks you could ask for. I therefore deicided to make a reservation for the day after, and went with my family for lunch and drinks.Adam was very kind with us, he was always there when we needed something and at the same time worked without taking any attention.The food was good, and we were served deilicious Martinis and other specials by Yann and Leo. Yann made our visit extra welcoming and warm.Im very happy to have gotten this great experiences at your Dante West Village.I truly admire your work!

Could not say more positive things about this place - they had an extensive drink menu with well balanced cocktails and yummy food. My fiancé had been searching for chocolate pecan pie this past holiday season with no luck, so we were overjoyed to find out that they had it. The vibes were splendid and service was fantastic. I can’t wait to come back.

We hosted a dinner with 15 people at Dante- WV and it was wonderful. The host and our waiter including staff were very attentive, the food was amazing and the vibe was perfect. Can't wait to host another event here in the future.
Food is incredible here. Dante's siganture charcoal oven baked bread with smoked butter & sea salt must be ordered whether you here just for a martini or a wonderful meal. Fire roasted organic chicken alla diavola with green goddess dressing, roasted cauliflower with tahini dressing, garlic chips, chili oil & herbs, charred brussel sprouts, bacon & balsamic cipollini with any and all of the potato dishes are a must!! Wonderful for friends, family or colleagues.

Wow this location is absolutely stunning. Perfect cocktail bar. From the entrance to the bar it's a cute small restaurant/bar. Recommend to go on martini hour as their martinis are 10 dollars. Although I'm not a martini person, I still ordered one with a side of a cocktail. I wanted to give it a try and although it was very strong it's was very delicious! Service here was excellent. Very attentive as soon as you walked in. They help you putting on and off your coat. It felt rich lol. We sat at the bar and I highly recommend it. You get to see the bartender take detail in the cocktails and I always think that's a plus. I have to come back for food as that day it was only a stop for drinks. Also there's another Dante location but this one is in west village.
