Solid Japanese bar fare and they have a pool table. Could do without the rather loud and annoying Corporate Rock soundtrack though.

They have the coldest Japanese beer (Sapporo maybe) on tap served in a very frosty mug. Good bar selection. Free pool table for customers. The scene at the pool table was really nice, with short wait times, skilled players who were pleasant and mature, and good available cues. This place is a lovely oasis of calm in a crowded city.

I went to the location near 96th & Amsterdam. Was disappointed that they no longer serve Oysters (false advertising much). I ordered a salad which was good. The Bartender Michael, appeared to be the only front of house staff. It was pretty empty. He told us the place closed at 11pm. He was cool at first, UNTIL he got deep into his pool game. He never came and checked back on us (we were seated at the bar). When I needed a fork for my salad, I had to go find him. When we wanted another order of wings, had to go to the pool table to order them. I never got to play because he was hogging up the table with his homies. At about 10:40, my friend asked if we could get a second round of drinks and more water (we were already there for over an hour), he said the bar was closed. His whole demeanor changed. I guess he lost his last game. He was irate and when we complained, his buddy told him to ignore us because he’d leave him an excellent review. LOL. I’m not sure if he’s the owner because he had this IDGAF attitude. Blew us off. It was utterly bazaar. If he’s not the owner, I hope his bosses check the cameras for 4/1/24 between 9:20pm-ish and 10:50pm. (I took a photo of him wandering around waiting for his next turn at the table). The fact that they close at 11 and he refused us another drink at 10:40 is insane. What bartender serves you one drink and doesn’t try to make more money? I’ll never return.

Had a very strange time there with my friends. Place wasn’t super busy. My friends grabbed a four top got two drinks each and some food and the entire staff was pretty dismissive and forgetful. Literally rude when we ordered, forgot two drinks, blew me off when I tried to remind the guy, then barely apologized the second time we had to remind him for the drink. I typically don’t like frequenting establishments that treat me like they’re doing me a favor by allowing me to give them money. I won’t be back.

They don’t like people who aren’t regulars and they don’t like it if you order their happy hour drinks. The staff was dismissive and acted as if we had offended them by just being there.

Fantastic Happy Hour spot, After work Spot, all round Spot. You can even enjoy March madness and Other sports games there on there screens. Staff is on point. Thank you Casper.
The oysters were damn small, very expensive, and had no flavour. Only their sauce had something going.

This place is highly confused as to what it wants to be, who it wants to cater to, and how it will present itself. While there is a free pool table, it is controlled like the mob. You will not be allowed to play unless you play in their rounds.Honestly, there’s so many other bars around here, choose elsewhere.
