Delicious, perfect bagels. Crisp on the outside, warm and slightly elastic on the inside. And always fresh! It's a no-frills place, but a true gem.

Everything is good but the cashier needs to be courteous with customers. Looks like she’s not happy with her job.

I had a very bad experience at this bagel place, To be honest, the bagels are extremely mushy and flavorless, taste like you’re just eating hard bread. There’s several other bagel places on the same block, surprised that they’ve been in business so long

Get their BEC sandwich! It’s the dream sandwich that drags me out of bed, the best in all of New York. Most of nyc’s famous bagels are too tall, imo, for a decent bite into a sandwich, and a bit too chewy for how big they are, but David’s bagel is perfect: still got the excellent chew of a bagel, but retains a softness that mesh with the fluffy eggs and cheese, and a bagel sandwich at David’s is the perfect portion for one person, unlike some common nyc monstrous constructions that tire you out half way through the sandwich. Would add a photo but I just inhaled my sandwich

Perhaps the most underrated bagels in Manhattan! A hidden gem that’s better than most “top rated” bagel shops

I’m 71 years old and I’m telling you right now he’s the best bagels in New York City that made the old one. Taste the old way away a bagel taste not like a piece of bread not like a cookie, but a bagel a real bagel.

Been coming here since 2017 so good and amazing good prices !!🌸
Best bagels in the neighborhood. Fluffy, tender, fresh! Tastier than their more hyped competitors.
Really solid
Paradise in the shape for a scruffy bagel shop. I have a thing for Everything Bagel with Scallion Creme Cheese, and their blueberry turnovers are delicious, too. Nice staff, great food. Their giant TV sets are a bit annoying, but god created man who then created ear plugs for a reason, so this does not influence the general happiness levels. Yay.

Best bagel in the area. Hidden gem. No need to wait in line at Ess A Bagel or Tompkins when David’s is right here.
Our go to bagel spot - hits every time (especially grab and go)
Poor service and overpriced for the quality I'm not sure what the Asian man's rush was I asked for my sandwich that costs over 8 dollars with the quality and amount of turkey that should be no more than 5 dollars too Mount Sinai is closing so I am happy to say I will never buy a sandwich here again poor service .a sandwich should be made the way you ask corner deli will always get my business sloppy customer service I asked the Hispanic man to make my sandwich because he follows directions and the ride man took over very disappointed

Tasty bagels. We stopped by on a Friday morning around 10:30 and had to wait for 10-15 minutes to place our order and then get our food.
We ordered four bagels - one everything, one salt, one egg, and one plain - all with the garlic chive cream cheese. We had them toasted.
The bagels were great- crunchy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. The crunchy outside did tear up the roof of our mouths a little bit, but it was worth it. The bagels themselves were pretty big in size plus generous spread of cream cheese made them very filling. My wife couldn’t finish hers.
The cream cheese was very very garlic forward, like spicy, so if you don’t enjoy garlic or don’t have some gum to chew afterwards maybe steer clear of the garlic chive cream cheese, but personally I liked the flavor.
A good bang for buck at just about $20 for the four bagels with cream cheese.
I’d come back!
