Get their BEC sandwich! It’s the dream sandwich that drags me out of bed, the best in all of New York. Most of nyc’s famous bagels are too tall, imo, for a decent bite into a sandwich, and a bit too chewy for how big they are, but David’s bagel is perfect: still got the excellent chew of a bagel, but retains a softness that mesh with the fluffy eggs and cheese, and a bagel sandwich at David’s is the perfect portion for one person, unlike some common nyc monstrous constructions...

I’m 71 years old and I’m telling you right now he’s the best bagels in New York City that made the old one. Taste the old way away a bagel taste not like a piece of bread not like a cookie, but a bagel a real bagel.

Paradise in the shape for a scruffy bagel shop. I have a thing for Everything Bagel with Scallion Creme Cheese, and their blueberry turnovers are delicious, too. Nice staff, great food. Their giant TV sets are a bit annoying, but god created man who then created ear plugs for a reason, so this does not influence the general happiness levels. Yay.
