Found this absolute gem of a place when looking for an authentic dive bar in NYC. What can I say, this place has it all. Jamie and Reggie are possibly the most chill bartenders in NYC with an amazing eye for making people feel welcome.
The bar has plenty of regulars who swing by many times a week. The customers are mostly between the age of 21–35, which definitely makes David's a good spot to make new friends. It doesn't really matter if you're looking for a cool place to hang out with a friend or traveling by yourself. Just sit at the bar, you'll be having a conversation in no time. The domestic beers are 5$, so a steal in that regard too.
Will sure visit again when I make it back to NYC from Finland.
