Awesome coffee shop. Reminded me of European coffee shops (clean open wide space with white tiled floors), great design. Cortado and espresso were delicious although I was surprised that everything was given in paper cups. The fruit tart was amazing. Totally my favorite!
I OFTEN DROP IN WHEN I VISIT ONE OF MY SEVERAL LOCAL EAST SIDE PHYSICIANS. I NEVER FAIL TO BE IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE MERCHANDISE AND THE SKILL OF THE STORE OPERATORS. WE HAVE MANY EXCELLENT PURVEYORS ON BROADWAY MUCH NEARER TO OUR HOME, BUT I ALWAYS FIND SOMETHING AT D&D WORTH BRINGING ON THE CROSSTOWN BUS.

Unfortunately this store is closed. I was last there Friday and now back on the following Wednesday and there is a sign that says the location is temporarily closed but the store is completely empty :(
