Anne Hathaway did not spit in my food.

In my very humble opinion, this might be NYC's coolest coffee shop, at least one done in a modern style w/ a lot of space. The black dark roast I ordered was surely satisfying enough. Bonus points for being extremely well ventilated, more so than the nearby Manhattanville Market.

Love this place to do work or just hang out. There’s always live music. Drinks are a little pricey but worth it. Their matcha is DELICIOUS and a deep green so 100% worth the $7. I also like that if you sit you don’t have to drink your coffee in a to go mug. It can be a little cold in there.

Open and lively space with ample sitting area and natural light. The coffee wasn't that impressive. We tried mocha, caramel latte, and cappuccino, none of them were memorable. But the bacon egg and cheese is sooo good!!! Nice accessible space good for both work and hanging out with friends.

Love this cafe. The space is open and large but also somehow feels cozy and intimate. The pastries are great and the coffee is top tier.

It's also a nice place to sit and read and do some work on your laptop for a bit.

Robert at Dear Mama truly went above and beyond for us when we needed help at the last minute. After our original venue fell through for an important event, he quickly stepped in and secured a space. At the event, Robert was incredibly thoughtful and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. His compassion and empathy during this were unmatched. I will forever be grateful for his kindness, and Dear Mama has gained a loyal customer in me. In addition, the cookies are out of this world. Highly recommend!

$6 for a cappuccino! No thanks.

To be fair, they could charge $10 for a cappuccino and these business school students will still pay for it. These same students will then graduate and make more poor financial decisions at whatever firm they end up in.

The cycle of mediocrity from mba graduates continues…

I ordered the drip coffee. It was watery and flavorless. Service was meh. This seems like a fun place but I arrived early on the weekend and it was almost empty. They have live music and full bar, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Would recommend the nearby Kuro Kuma for a much better coffee.

Dear Mama is one of the best coffee spots in the neighborhood! Since I moved here, I've been hooked on their amazing coffee and the super friendly staff. Shout out to Matt, who always makes my day!
