Server forgot we were celebrating birthday until after bill was paid. Also, we ordered a Caesar salad appetizer, but she didn't tell us one of our entrees also included a big salad. Had we known, we would not have ordered the Caesar salad.
First time here and it's just a short walk from home. Food was really good, service lovely, and we enjoyed our booth by the window very much. We will absolutely be back!
Eveyone was a pleasure and very kind to sing happy birthday to ny sister n law plus write her card.
Our server started off good then just went all over the place and did not attend to us well. We missed some of the appetizers, drinks and never really paid much attention to us. We were a group of 11 and I feel every time there's bill with gratuity already included, some servers feel like they don't need to work for it. We were there for 3hrs. He was MIA for a while at times, we should've had a backup server or someone to help. They mixed up orders, no real coordination when the food came out. We didn't even have time for dessert because we had our Ubers scheduled. No way dinner should've been 3 hrs long.
We had a truly great experience! The drinks were exceptional crafted with precision and full of flavor. The highlight was the breathtaking skyline view, which created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for amazing cocktails and a stunning atmosphere.
The worst service ever. Don't waste your time or money. Waited 20 minutes for our table and was then told we had to wait or was offered another table. Reservations were made 2 weeks in advance. Were given a booth for 6 people that could only accommodate 5. One hour after arriving finally received water. Some of the food ordered was eventually not available. Manager was nasty. Spilled water all over one of our attendees and broker a glass all over the floor.
Excellent food and service was wonderful. Our waiter Julio, was extremely knowledgeable with wine.
I really liked the food and the hostesses and waiter were very friendly. However the manager of this location (I think his name is Evo?) is exceptionally rude and unprofessional. We planned on doing the It Girl dinner which is only available first come first serve at the bar. The bar was packed with some sort of business engagement so we kept our original reservation and sat at our table. The hostess sat us early without a full party (which we had no problem waiting for our third guest without sitting) and the manager came over angry at us for being sat before our full party. Then he reprimanded us again for “making a table reservation when It Girl dinner is only at the bar.” Again, no one in our party had an issue with doing a regular al a carte dinner at the table, yet the manager continued to berate us about the reservation and even threatened to remove our reservation and “have a word” with his hostess about improperly seating us without a full party. We ended up ordering wine, cocktails, apps, and entrees and we all enjoyed the food. Again, the waiter was very polite and attentive. The manager came over at the end of the meal with some sort of “on the house” pretzel bread for our table. I'm not sure if this was supposed to be some sort of peace offering, but it was odd timing since bread is usually at the beginning of the meal. Overall, food, and service was good but management sucks and I wouldn't come here again.
We ordered the filet mignon at lunchtime. My mother asked for medium well and I asked for medium, middle pink not red. Both steaks were medium rare, very red almost raw on cut surfaces. The seasoning was extremely peppery and salty. We asked them to re-make the steaks with less seasoning and they were both a bit too well done. The server did not check on us after he first set the steaks down and we had to flag him down. After that he was attentive and helpful. I've eaten there before and this is the first time I was disappointed.
I stopped into Del Frisco's Grille at the World Trade Center with two friends for an early birthday celebration, and the experience landed somewhere in the middle for me. The wine was honestly the highlight — rich, smooth, and exactly what you hope for when you're settling into a nice dinner. The steaks, while cooked decently, didn't quite deliver that memorable, melt-in-your-mouth moment I was hoping for. The sides, though, definitely held their own. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, the creamed spinach had great flavor, and even the brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes hit the spot. I will say the atmosphere felt a bit chaotic. It seemed like every office in the area picked the same week for their holiday party, so the dining room was buzzing — and not in a way that made my early birthday dinner feel special. Service was polite, but the overall vibe was more rushed than celebratory. All in all, a solid 3–4 star meal: good wine, great sides, okay steak, but not quite the birthday moment I hoped for. On a quieter week, I imagine the experience could be much better.

This was our first visit to the Battery Park Del Frisco's Grille, and unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing—especially for a Thanksgiving meal. We ended up here because we were late making reservations at the Double Eagle, where we usually go every year, and this location seemed like the next best option. Sadly, it did not come close to the quality we've come to expect from Del Frisco's. To start, the steaks were poorly cooked, oddly flavored, and arrived swimming in grease. Every dish—from the mashed potatoes to the Brussels sprouts to the creamed spinach—was lukewarm at best. Even the crab cake was tiny and served lukewarm. The restaurant was not crowded, so there was really no reason for the food to be this temperature or this inconsistent. We were seated right across from the bar, and while the noise was manageable, it wasn't ideal for a holiday dinner. Our waitress was very pleasant, but I was overwhelmed by the constant upselling of a “laundry membership.” On Thanksgiving Day, when all I wanted was to relax with my family and have a nice meal, being solicited repeatedly felt inappropriate and poorly timed. We used to visit the now-closed Huntington Grille location and always enjoyed it, which made this experience even more surprising. Spending over $500 on a meal that was not satisfying in any way was frustrating. I'm not sure if this was just an off night, but the quality simply wasn't there. Again, staff from reception the time we exited was extremely pleasant and personable. The food was extremely below standard and I feel robbed.
Steaks great. Service was great. Seated near bar which made conversation impossible and did have a reservation.
Ordered a shrimp caesar - what I got was the saddest, smallest, undressed salad I have every seen; the portion of a $12 salad at Sweetgreen is better. I would have sent back if not at a business lunch. Good thing there are other options which I'll take my business to.
Great lunch experience after several hours of touring the city. The menu had plenty of options for gluten free customers.
Had a lovely lunch - good food and service! This was down by Wall Street and just as good as the uptown location.
