Ordered takeout. I am amazed at how brown people who have opened up in Harlem are rude to black people. The owner was very tight lipped. I ordered anyway. You’re in Harlem you are in OUR community. A white man comes in. He opens the menu explains and shows him the options. Very pleasant. Such a shame. So black people when you come here let them know.

This has to be the blandest Indian food I've ever tasted. No flavor or salt. Definitely would not try it again.

I just had a light dinner at Delhi Masala, and my experience was HORRIBLE!!! But not for the reason you might think. In other words, the food was good, not great, but passable. The problem was, as an African American visiting the heart of HARLEM, the waiter/manager never acknowledged my presence. Not a "hello dog." Not a "get out!" Not a "thank you." And certainly not a "please come again." No, NOTHING! This man of color, whose skin was darker than mine, whose restaurant was located in the Capital city of African America, didn't see me as a customer. But worse than that, he didn't see my humanity. We have to do better! But I get it because as it turns out, even Mr. "Nonviolent Resistance" himself, Mahatma Gandhi, was a notorious RACIST!!! Sad but true. Look it up. Smh...However, the good news is, that you can all vote for VIVEK RAMASWAMY for president in 2024, he's a WINNER! Hahaha #stopallracism

I always come in here for their chicken tikka masala. I tried the chicken samosa for the first time and it was great. I always get an extra slice of garlic naan, you should too.

Ordered delivery. Butter Chicken, Plain Naan, Veg Samosas, gobi paneer. All of it bad. The dough on the samosas was raw, naan needed more time cooking as well. Butter chicken had one, boring note. Really such a shame.

Dinner really starts at 2:45PM, and $5 wines by the glass! Lunch special is from 12-2:45PM and this restaurant is on the SEATED app!!! (2023)

I ordered kadai paneer, mango lassi, garlic naan, rasmalai and aloo tikki chole. I had aloo tikki chole first and it was literally chef’s kiss ? I cannot describe how good it was. It filled my stomach for three ish hours as well. The mango lassi was pretty good too. Then for dinner, I opened up the kadai paneer and it just looked bad. The gravy was poorly made by just looking at it. It wasn’t made with milk. Just a lot of residual water. There was a lot of onions and tomatoes. The paneer was cut in rectangles instead of cubes and the entire thing really had no flavor. It just tasted like water, capsicum, onion and sometimes paneer but all separately. It just didn’t go together. I was extremely disappointed because after having the aloo chole tikki, I had insanely high expectations. I usually finish my meal no matter how bad it is but this just wasn’t worth it. It tasted like water and the texture was bad that I couldn’t bring myself to eat the whole thing. The naan was fine. It was like any other garlic naan. Rasmalai tastes alright as well. I’m just sad that my actual dinner didn’t taste good and everything else did. This would be my GO TO restaurant if it weren’t for the bad kadai paneer. I wouldn’t order from this place again. Maybe go in person to have aloo chole tikki but it’s not worth with all the delivery fee and tip charges to have below par dinner.

Ordered the goat lamb curry and had two small pieces of podadle. The curry was very soupy and not thick as chosen when ordering. It was also not flavorful, I had to add salt. The naan left much to be desired, so did the basmati rice.Curry spilled out of container during delivery.

Delicious Indian food at a good price! My go to food here is their amazing Lasuni Gobi and garlic naan! Best Gobi flavoring in the city!
