no filling inside
I ordered a cream cheese taiyaki, a red been taiyaki and the 2 piece Nutella walnut cakes. These little fishes are not the Nutella walnut cakes. I received the wrong order!
So mad!!! I bought 10 cakes and then decided to buy 3 more with custard cream. And I asked him, is it fresh ? He answered “yes” but those three cakes like one week old, I tried a little bit, now my stomach hurts. I’m so mad😡 !!! I want my money back, but they don’t pick up the phone. We used to buy every time when we are there. Why they would sell three old cakes and lose customer! Really disappointing!
Had hard time finding this place because of name change, but you can find it as soon as you enter building, its on the left side near entrance. Ordered matcha custard and matcha redbean one. Really like the custard one because it was chewy w matcha flavor and so creamy inside w custard. There are seating area inside (one in 2nd floor also)

First off, I love taiyaki. I was looking forward to having one at this place while visiting NYC but it did not live up to the many many others I've had. The mochi filling was TOO mochi and not a good balance of regular taiyaki batter and mochi. Also, the custard was unevenly distributed so half of my taiyaki didn't have any filling and then the other half was flowing over slightly. Definitely not worth the $5.75. :(

The best teiyaki in NYC! Crunchy, chewy, generous amount of filling. Can’t live without it.

bought the matcha taiyaki with custard cream. neither did it have any matcha flavor nor the custard was any good. to top it off, there was only about a spoonful of custard in the fish's tail.. being in japan and eating japanese street food, this tasted like i bought it in walmart.. bleh!!

Not very good compared to other places, can't get the crispiness of the outside or freshness of the red bean

This is located inside Food Gallery 32. I was a little disappointed as they only have the custard filled variety available at the time of our visit. Nevertheless, it was good. It’s like a soft waffle filled with custard.

Spent $21 to have my order picked up just to get cold, day old, dry delimanjoo. So disappointed and no on should spend money to get this type of product. I deserve to get my money back for this. NOT FRESH OR

discovered this place years ago and it was on my mind and I finally found it again. I’ve been craving taiyeki ever since then and I finally remembered the route I took to find it.

This actually surprised me about how good it tasted. It was kinda pricey in my opinion - $6 for the regular taiyaki.
I got the cream cheese one. They made it fresh so the dough was still hot and chewy. I wish they put more cream cheese in mine because I had to bite into half to see the cream cheese. I would definitely try more of their flavors :) The matcha taiyaki looks amazing my friend got that one
