I don’t know what happened to this place unless it’s simply they got cheap with the ingredients during Covid. I live around the core Dr and I barely ever go bc the quality of the food just went completely in the tank. Sucks.

Beware of takeout! The veal dishes are loaded with salt! Unimaginable amount's. I’m very disappointed since it was inedible. I usually enjoy their little restaurant in the back of the pizzeria. They must have gotten a new chef who doesn’t care. I suggest you warn them if you’re ordering takeout, low to no sodium.

Highly recommended for an authentic NYC, consistently delivers my cravings. I always bring my tourists here, for a sit down meal with table service. We order a huge pizza pie going half and half toppings, garlic knots, and a pasta dish to share. Slices to go are quick and there is a very broad menu at good prices. Bring cash to tip! Enjoy!!

Delizia is a typical pizza place upfront, but the dining room in back is separate and very pleasant, with its own menu. Delicious food, friendly service and moderate noise level, so conversation is possible.
