The food and atmosphere at Demo are always excellent, but the service and customer experience could be improved. We were sat nearly 30 minutes after our reservation time and not even a glass of wine was comped. It would have improved the experience a lot to feel more taken care of, especially at such a nice place!

my only regret is not coming earlier. we love locally and noticed how cute this place is and decided to book for a saturday evening and so glad we did. the staff was amazing and accommodating and very lovely...the food is on another level - every single dish we had was perfect. the scallops are beautiful and delicate, the arroz ala plancha was like nothing i've ever had before and the steak and lobster entrees were phenomenal. the banana pudding was so good we had to order it twice. the vibes were also great here, you can tell everyone was enjoying their experience too. we have already booked tables again to come back and try some dishes we missed on this first time around :)

Food and service were both solid, but the experience took a hit when the hostess said we only had an hour and a half to eat because of another reservation. That definitely threw off the vibe and made us feel rushed. Would've been way better if they told us about the time limit when we booked. Honestly, left feeling pretty disappointed. sorry we came!

Went to try this spot and had a great experience. Food was excellent, very creative and draws from French and new American cuisines and preparations. Each dish was very creative and delicious. Beer and wine only here, but they had some interesting orange ones on the menu. Service was decent, the place seemed a bit plain, and the plate ware could have been nicer but overall the courses were incredible. Would return for sure.

WOW! Just wow! I’ve been meaning to eat at Demo and it blew us away. Firstly, our server was amazing! She gave great recs and they all aligned with our likings. All the dishes were phenomenal! Especially cabbage and the arroz a la plancha. The semifreddo special was very delicious and the banana pudding was perfect. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

Cute spot in the West Village, with two bars! Small, delicious menu! Sesame focaccia, scallop crudo, and arroz a la plancha are standouts! Both desserts were yummy but judging creatively, the grape tart knocks the banana pudding out of the oven! Wow! Service is friendly and attentive. Darkly lit atmosphere.
