We visit New York most years, and since discovering this hidden gem in the Village, have always revisited it. It serves authentic pizzas...the best we've tasted outside of Naples...and the service is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit
Stopped in without a reservation. Able to be seated even though they were busy.

After a full day of walking in NYC, we stopped at this pizzeria for dinner. Didn’t order any pizza but had meatballs and beat salad, both are great. While we were sitting there, another couple came. They both have grey hairs, well-dressed, and look nice. They were chatting with a bottle of sparkling water, close to the street, with quiet voice. Later, their pepperoni pizza came. They shared two slices, pouring drink for each other. Wish I could be like them when I’m at that...
