My favorite neighborhood restaurant. Good food. Good service. The bartender makes great cocktails.
Always great whether a as a neighborhood favorite, Saul's dinner or even a special occasion
Good food. Uneven service.

Expected better dinner experience but unfortunately it was not up to the expectations. Mediocre food horrible French fries. Cous Cous was certainly was not a cous cous.
Food doesn't taste nearly as good as to justify the prices.

A wonderful neighborhood bistro! A most comfortable bôite for a languid evening of pleasant company and delicious food. The service is more than hospitable, Sybele (sp?) and Janusz took exceptionally good care of our party of 4. It is always a treat to introduce friends to this delightful spot. It very much reminds me of a favorite place on the East Bank in Paris. We enjoyed our food and the company so much that we closed the place down - and not for the first time. It is a rare gem.

This is our neighborhood gem. The kitchen is consistent. The service is personal. Bucky, Sam, Zahir, Janosh and everyone. Faves: duck confit, chicken couscous, veal risotto, scallops, escargot.
Food was very good but it took forever to get the check. Luckily I didn't have to be anywhere.
Super nice French bistro/restaurant. I went by myself a week night and the atmosphere was really nice, the service friendly and the food was excellent.

What a gem! There are literally 11 French restaurants in this neighborhood but Deux Amis rings all the right bells. Classic French atmosphere; mahogany bar, white table cloths, burgundy red accents.
We sat at the bar (always my preference). We started with the Gazpacho and Vol Au Vent. The Vol Au Vent was crazy delicious. Perfect starter to split if you’re hungry (intensely satisfying flavors and buttery pie crust). The gazpacho was very basic tomato and very soupy smooth, but nonetheless uber refreshing and light. We were each served warm bread rolls with chilled salted butter with the appetizers.
For entrees, we had the chicken and the burger. The chicken breast was crazy juicy and tender for a breast cut, and served with a altoiid box sized piece of potato gratin. The gratin was unbelievable. You could see the thyme leaves and taste the grounding comfort food vibes.
We (as always) ordered the burger rare. It came with fries and salad. Holy smokes was it cooked perfectly. It’s the kind of thing you bite and start singing AND IIIIIIII WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOUU in your head.
Zahir was a legend. He made us feel right at home.
If you’re considering elsewhere, don’t.

Nice local neighborhood French bistro. Loved the chocolate souffle. Other dishes were fine. House cab for $36/bottle only! Great value.
Didn't get a chance to try their French Onion Soup as we might have missed it on the menu but later asked and was told they had it. Service was very good.
