Go often for the price fixed luncheon. The escargot are the best, salmon or chicken very good and raspberry torte is delicious. The service is spot on every time!

I live next to this place and truly cannot say enough good things. The food is amazing, the steak frites and French onion soup are fire. The staff is wonderful. Every single one of them is so kind and helpful. Love the ambiance as well - feels very intimate for a date night or a nice family dinner. 10/10 such a hidden gem!!

We are regular customers. Yesterday evening went with family and the food was really off. Nothing had flavor. We were so disappointed. Perhaps the chef was on vacation and someone was filling in. Hope this won't become norm.

This is a nice neighborhood restaurant; everything was fine but not extraordinary. The wine list by the glass is limited to “house” wines that were, again, okay but not very interesting. It was Christmas Day dinner and they were offering a prix fixe menu that wasn't special in any way for the holiday, except for a Bûche Noël among the desserts. Service was friendly and accommodating. We were looking for something easy to get to in the neighborhood and this was fine.

Deux Amis is one of my go-to neighborhood restaurants. The food is consistently good and I enjoy the atmosphere.

I had not been to Deux Amis in a few months. After dinner last night I certainly won't wait so long to go back. There were five of us and everything we ordered—appetizers, entrees, and dessert—was wonderful.

Deux Amis is one of my go-to locations near Grand Central Terminal (it's about a 10-15 minute walk). If you enjoy French cuisine, the food is excellent (I particularly love their escargots, which are often Americanized, but here they are very much like what you would find in Paris). For lunch, it's a great spot because it's quiet and you are not rushed out. For dinner, it can get quite busy and is a bit louder.

Cozy very convenient for people who drive in from Long Island because there is a garage across the street. Wines are nice and menu is reasonable.

I rely on this neighborhood gem to continue to deliver wonderful French food and great service that makes one feel like family. Good selection on wine and a staff that is well informed on how the food is made. An enjoyable experience.

My favorite neighborhood restaurant. Good food. Good service. The bartender makes great cocktails.

Expected better dinner experience but unfortunately it was not up to the expectations. Mediocre food horrible French fries. Cous Cous was certainly was not a cous cous.

Food doesn't taste nearly as good as to justify the prices.
