In a nutshell: Among the 100 Vegan restaurants list in the US, this Vegetarian joint packs a lot of flavor! THE GOOD I can see how all the reviews are 5 stars, the attentive service and suggestions to a new customer stands out. Although my first option is Vegan, Vegetarian as second choice I decided to try the impossible burger as is in order to fully appreciate what this fresh take on vegan fast food is all about. The prices are along the line of other organic food restaurants and venues, the $18 burger combo is worth it and will leave you satisfied but if you have a large belly you might fit their famous pickle fries or any dessert option they may had. THE BAD The location is way deep in the Lower East Side, so unless you are staying in the area or have some business to attend around is not the most centric location and it has more of a mall-feel than one would want for a NYC venue. It is fair to say this is more of a Vegetarian Fast-Food joint than a vegan restaurant, the venue is very small and does not have indoor seating. Although tempted to bring the score down to 3 stars because of the inaccurate classification, the service and the quality of the food compensates for it. In a cold and rainy day like today seating outside to eat the food makes you rush through it and move on quickly, I see how in better weather seating outside and people watch have it's benefits. THE BEST Typically vegan or vegetarian food restaurants sin of serving bland food and while there are certain dishes that benefit of a more pure form of preparation in general is just boring Chefs that doesn't really have the guts to use the spicerack... not the case here. Although DILL have limited Vegan options, many Vegetarian dishes can be made Vegan and that's why I love brands like that. A shout out must be given to Mike, who's service and suggestions pan out to a delicious experience, the fries are just crunchy enough and the touch of vinegar puts a smile on my face, the watermelon lemonade sourness is balanced and a great palette cleanser. Looking forward try the rest of the menu, on a warmer day, for sure. Big recommend for sure!

Quick-serve counter from the Pickle Guys next door. Limited menu but the food is really good. Loaded tater tots with Impossible beef are delicious! A few bar seats indoors and a couple of cafe tables outside. Great for a quick, casual bite.

This place has an awesome manager and staff. There was some confusion on my part and my burger came with some unexpected toppings. The staff offered to make another to accommodate my allergies. The manager came out shortly after and engaged us in some conversation, educated us on the vegan vs vegetarian menu options and was super personable. The food was really good but the service was amazing, and I will absolutely be back.

Despite The Pickle Guys being closed, Salvage saved the day! They serve delicious Diller pickles, fried with various dipping sauces. Can't wait to return for more, including pickled mushrooms and their classic impossible burger with extra pickles. Go now!

The beyond burger and fried pickle is to die for. One of the best fried pickle I have ever had. The beyond burger is a good refresher from the non veg we eat. The freshness and the warmth of the owner can be felt every bite

The pickle guys were closed and we were bummed. But …. Salvage came. Diller pickles take the best pickles from next door and fries them, has a bunch of cool dipping sauces. And it made our day!!! Can’t wait to return for fries, pickled mushrooms and maybe even their classic impossible burger with all the pickles. GO !!! NOW!!!

Insanely good vegetarian burgers. Probably the best in the city. Love the pickled atmosphere of this place. And pickle guys, their store next door, is a must-go.

Was recently introduced to Diller by a kosher friend and was such a quintessential LES experience. Got fried pickles with vegan chipotle sauce and a to-go cocktail of pickle juice with saki!! Such a perfect combo, will definitely go back, also has vegan taco, burger and fries! Also has vegetarian so no meat but not 100% vegan.

Best vegan burger I have ever had! The fried pickles are fantastic as well. Service is great and they always remember how I like my burger. Probably because I am in here so much :)

Fried pickles weren’t as good as other places. Overpowering fried batter flavour overtakes the pickle. Egg roll was fine but didn’t have as many pickled components as I thought there would be.
