We loved our dinner at Dilli Dilli. It lives upto everything we heard about their food. We tried Tikki and Ghilafi Paneer, both dishes were delicious. Paneer was so soft and Dilli Dili Tikki reminded me of the one I used to eat growing up. We also had chole bhature- classic dish, the pickle was so good. The Kaju Pista Kofta was also delicious, loved it along with Naan which was soft and if you are new to Roomali Roti - try it. It was really well made. For dessert, we had Jalebi Rabdi - it was outstanding. Not overly sweet and crispy Jalebis. Overall, great experience and already planning our next visit.
This is a great restaurant. Always impressed by the food, service. Deliciousness never was so festive and fun.
My parents and I had a wonderful first time dining experience at Dilli Dilli. From the hospitality, to the service, to the food, and to the overall experience, everything was top notch. Our server, Aman, was very sweet and he made us feel right at home. I loved when several servers presented me with a huge sparkler for my birthday and they asked for my name so they could sing happy birthday to me and included my name in the song! A very nice touch and something you don't often see at restaurants. I'm already planning to return within the next month!
A fabulously located Indian restaurant with authentic flavors of Delhi (Dilli). Recommended for those who savor authentic taste of Indian cuisine.
Have dined at Dilly Dilly 3 times and plan to come back as frequently as I can. The food is inventive and absolutely delicious. The service — from start to finish — is friendly and competent. The atmosphere is excellent — plus, no loud music which adds to the pleasure of dining here. We will come back often!
We were a group of five people. Fantastic food, each dish was delicious. Drinks were ahit or a miss in the group. Love the ambience, though it can get a bit noisy when it's full. Service was a bit slower than usual (this is our third time) as the restaurant was full and had a private event on the upper level. But they were courteous and tried to make up for it. Overall a great experience.
Fancy atmosphere, great food! We did not get beverages we had ordered. We had gobi, saag paneer, malai shrimp, garlic naan. We also had kulfi for dessert.
Conveniently located to several Broadway theatres, Dilly Dilly is a lovely spot for dinner. The food was tasty and delicious, and presented with care. The service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it!
Prices were steep across the board, I would have liked more value for some of the dishes ordered. For instance, Malai shrimp and masala soda was decent but nothing special, but the prices were up there along with all other dishes which were truly unique and nostalgic. Minor things aside, I give this place an enthusiastic two thumbs up and will be back.
From the moment we stepped into Dilli Dilli, it was clear we were in for something special. This Indian gem completely won us over with its vibrant ambiance, flavorful cuisine, and warm hospitality. The entire experience was exceptional—from the delicious food to the thoughtful service. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic spices and expertly prepared, reflecting the heart and soul of Indian cooking. Whether you're a fan of Indian street food to, tandoori specials, or freshly baked naan, Dilli Dilli delivers across the board. What truly stood out was the friendly and attentive staff. The servers and chefs were not only professional but genuinely kind, making us feel right at home. Their warmth added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. A highlight of our visit was seeing how much our child enjoyed it. The staff went out of their way to make sure he was happy and entertained, which made the evening all the more special for our family. I highly recommend Dilli Dilli to anyone looking for an authentic Indian meal in a welcoming environment—perfect for families, food lovers, and anyone craving a great night out.

Best India food I've had in new york so far. Extremely flavorful and reminded me of Delhi food for sure!
The offerings were quite nice and slightly different than other restaurants that offer indian cuisine. The flavors were really nice. Definitely recommend to go. Server Tanmay was very helpful and shared details about the items we ordered.
Dilli Dilli is a cozy, well-curated spot that brings the flavors of North and South Delhi to your table, making the experience very nostalgic. The short and sweet menu is thoughtfully designed, with a great mix of street-style and elevated dishes, all paired with a solid drink selection. The customer service is warm and attentive, which adds to the charm. One small suggestion. Since many dishes are named after Delhi neighborhoods, it would be great if servers explained where they're from. It would make the experience even more interesting for people who do not know these places in Delhi or have never visited Delhi. Overall, a lovely place to dine, especially if you're craving a taste of Delhi.
Finally a good Indian restaurant in NYC. Food was yummy - definitely close to Delhi food that we miss living in US. We would be returning to try other dishes and their brunch. Experience would have been complete if they had gol gappa or papri chaat but we loved everything we had there. Gilafi paneer and kebab were our favorites. Must try restaurant.
Terrific food, lovely decor. Service could have been more attentive, seems as though he forgot about us. There was an extremely long wait for our large plates after appetizers, when other tables who came in after us were receiving their food. Volume of music made conversation difficult.
