Our meal at Dilli Dilli was Dilli-icious! The restaurant has a casual, welcoming vibe, and the menu is interestingly arranged with both traditional and more modern interpretations of Delhi food. Service was friendly, and good suggestions were made for our choices. Portions were plentiful and flavorful - we will definitely be back. It's nice to find a reliable place to eat in the Theater District.

Excellent food. Highly recommend the seekh and dal. Mutton curry and latcha parantha also excellent

We arrived on time to our reservation and they told us the kitchen was closed so we couldn't eat

Drinks and appetizers were great! However main course was very subpar, no flavor, all filled with cream sauce. Even the desert Gulab Jamun was soaking in a cream sauce. And the chai was just dark brown water, will not be going there again.

Inirdered chola Bhangra and was so blend and pickle served with it was so dry. Chola saying chef from delhi SHAME . It's not even close to what we get in Delhi. Quantity is so low as per price . They also need to work on their serving size for the price they offer.

The food was not fresh. The butter chicken we ordered was too creamy and sweet not at all like dili ka butter chicken. The vegetarian snacks were underwhelming and bland. Only non vegetarian snacks were good. Soya chaap was bland and salty. Had a really bad experience

It was our wedding anniversary. Nice place in time square. Good food. The Kofta's were good. Loved the lachaa paratha. My wife had dahi bonda she loved it. Vadas were soft and tender. Over all a good dining experience.

The place has good, authentic, Delhi based classics, however, the bartender was incredibly slow and unaware. We stood at the bar for 20 minutes and he did not look up, until a waiter got his attention. The tables are on top of each other making it a loud, intrusive spot for dinner - not a great date place.

We loved our dinner at Dilli Dilli. It lives upto everything we heard about their food. We tried Tikki and Ghilafi Paneer, both dishes were delicious. Paneer was so soft and Dilli Dili Tikki reminded me of the one I used to eat growing up. We also had chole bhature- classic dish, the pickle was so good. The Kaju Pista Kofta was also delicious, loved it along with Naan which was soft and if you are new to Roomali Roti - try it. It was really well made. For dessert, we had Jalebi Rabdi - it was outstanding. Not overly sweet and crispy Jalebis. Overall, great experience and already planning our next visit.

I know it is hard to replicate authentic delhi flavors, but other reviews make this place seem like a real deal. Unfortunately I have had authentic food in old Delhi and those flavors were not replicated when we were here. Food was fine but not authentic. Overall I would rate it a decent experience in the theatre district.

My parents and I had a wonderful first time dining experience at Dilli Dilli. From the hospitality, to the service, to the food, and to the overall experience, everything was top notch. Our server, Aman, was very sweet and he made us feel right at home. I loved when several servers presented me with a huge sparkler for my birthday and they asked for my name so they could sing happy birthday to me and included my name in the song! A very nice touch and something you don't often see at restaurants. I'm already planning to return within the next month!

A fabulously located Indian restaurant with authentic flavors of Delhi (Dilli). Recommended for those who savor authentic taste of Indian cuisine.

Have dined at Dilly Dilly 3 times and plan to come back as frequently as I can. The food is inventive and absolutely delicious. The service — from start to finish — is friendly and competent. The atmosphere is excellent — plus, no loud music which adds to the pleasure of dining here. We will come back often!

We were a group of five people. Fantastic food, each dish was delicious. Drinks were ahit or a miss in the group. Love the ambience, though it can get a bit noisy when it's full. Service was a bit slower than usual (this is our third time) as the restaurant was full and had a private event on the upper level. But they were courteous and tried to make up for it. Overall a great experience.
